I'd be fine with that, of course, depending on who else is available.

But then they also might be trying to get a team that loves him to move up so someone drops to them. Who knows?!

Peter Schrager on GMFB was adamant that he'll be the pick IF he's still on the board. Hope he's right if the top 4 receivers are gone.
I like Zion!! He’d be a solid pick. But, I wouldn’t be upset either if we draft the Edge Karlaftis from Purdue. Something is telling me that he may very well be the kid that teams will regret NOT drafting.

I think edge and Wr are our two biggest needs. But at 23 I don’t want to see us take the 6th best receiver.
If it comes down to Karlaftis or Jones I lean toward edge rusher.

WR's are now highly coveted. In the recent past they would go in the second round, but with all the BIG contracts being paid to WR's a lot will now go in the 1st round. From all I've read the experts have about six or seven with 1st round grades, and I'm pretty sure that the WR who has the best rookie year, won't be in the top three selected. JMO.

The overall rankings in the media doesn't matter much, Slanidrac. It is about fit with the individual team, and that will obviously differ from team to team, and player to player. According to the analysts the wide receiver-class is highly diverse this year, thus there should be something for everyone.

Gambo was pretty confident that the Cards will select Kenyon Green OL out of Texas A&M if they stay put at #23.

So it wouldn't shock me if the Cardinals are higher on Green vs Johnson

Gambo also listed his Gambo 5 for the #23 overall pick by the Cardinals as:

Kenyon Green OG
Kaiir Elam CB
Trent McDuffie CB
Jahan Dotson WR
Jordan Davis DL

Depending on which one might fall to the Cardinals at 23. Gambo has actually been pretty dialed in with the Cardinals picks the last couple of years.
