    If Durant says he is here to stay then Bud can take him at his word. With a commitment like that I think Durant would be firmly devoted to make it work here until at least late October.

    We probably should take an old rookie. Not sure about McCullar but they need someone who can contribute right away. They don’t have the luxury to wait on a raw guy to develop.

    Whoever gets the job they will be Durant’s 6th coach since leaving the Warriors. Only one of those coaches, Nash, whom Durant personally requested get the job then demanded to get fired, made it more than one season.

    He's already a stone cold lock for the hall. Ben Wallace is in, Mutombo is in, Howard is going to end up in there... Gobert will be too. Only reason I can fathom he wouldn't get in is that he seems roundly disliked around the league, but I doubt it will have any impact on the vote.
