He might get in even without it. Dikembe Mutombo (closest comp I could think of) made it in and he doesn't have a championship. He has a Finals appearance, but other than that the rest of the accolades look pretty similar, including 4x DPOY and a bunch of defensive team awards.

2024 NBA Draft talk: Suns own pick 22

It's so asinine. Championship teams and other contenders have found legit contributors in non-lottery picks. Christian Braun is a perfect example. Is he ever going to be an all star or even a starter? Probably not, but he was a valuable part of that championship. Is it likely? Maybe not, but...

Suns updates and discussion for the 2023-24 season

Would it be so hard to just take SOME accountability? "The team that we put together didn't pan out the way we thought, and some flaws that we thought we could gameplan around proved to be difficult. We don't have a ton of flexibility because of the 2nd apron, but rest assured we will try, to...

"It's like Looney Tunes around here" - A Suns source reveals how chaotic the organization is under new owner Mat Ishbia

Curious, is there a reason you have Tyler Herro in all caps in that list? I was hopeful Phoenix would end up with Brandon Clarke somehow (he's from Vancouver!), because he would have been a great fit as a higher floor lower ceiling guy who will do the dirty work on that team.

It's not like we knew this was going to happen, like he was just an absolute zero during the 23 playoffs...oh wait.

    The 2024 NBA playoffs thread

I'm probably stating the obvious here, but watching some of these games, it's apparent how much Phoenix misses having a lockdown perimeter defender that can also make 3s and not be a liability on offense. KCP, McDaniels, NAW, Derrick Jones Jr, Dort, Derrick White, etc... Instead we got... Josh...

The foul bait 3 was somewhat questionable too. That being said, Philly was incredibly composed at the end of regulation and in OT while NYK basically just ran Brunson isos the entire time. I'm a fan of Nick Nurse, don't know what happened there, but I think he would have been a better hire than...

Man, Turner would have been a great fit with this team. I personally balked at the long rumored Ayton for Turner trade, too bad Ayton turned out to be such a head case.

Right, but KBD and Yuta had previously shot well from 3, so it's a reasonable postulation that if they shot up to par there'd be a different outlook on the team.

Jamal Murray is getting a lot of praise for those knockout punches, but credit to MPJ for all the body blows beforehand. His 3pt shooting kept them in the games when everyone other than Jokic was struggling.

I hate him, but Murray is a stone cold killer. Minnesota Denver is going to be a hell of a series.

Timberwolves @ Suns Sunday Playoff game thread 4-28-2024 - Game 4

That's being totally dismissive of what Ant did last night. He absolutely put the clamps down on Beal, had multiple spectacular defensive plays on Book, and made the right plays time after time when Phoenix doubled him. Aside from scoring (and I'd argue a lot of it was from a somewhat friendly...
