He was giving lots of kudos to Cards D and Clancy Pendergast too. He said the SeaHawks told him that they really weren't troubled or intimidated by Pittsburgh's D when they were preparing for the SB. "Heck we faced much worse than that from Arizona's defense." "Pittsburgh's defense is nothing compared to theirs".

Clayton didn't actually say who said that from the Hawks. He just attributed it to them. He said Cards D was great preparation for them when they were preparing for the SB according to them. Clayton is very impressed with our D. Cards need to keep Clancy on board whenever Green leaves. I would love to see him succeed DG.
