Angel Hernandez says hold my beer.

I think this has been one of the worst season in MLB history for umpires. It's almost like they're deliberately making bad calls, because they know bringing in technology makes their job easier and less stressful, but they still get paid.

I think all home plate umps should retire. Time to use the strike zone for calling balls and strikes.

100%.

Now with all the improvements to the speed of the game, the umpiring is easily the worst remaining issue with the game. 1st and 3rd is all you need.

I still say the umps are doing it on purpose. They want the electronics brought in....it won't cost any of them their jobs and they will still make the same money and be full time...but will have less responsibility.
