Be real about it think about who be available when the pick comes up,
Mine 4-Harrison WR 27- McKinstry CB 35-Brandon Fiske DT
Let the debate begin.
Braden Fiske goes round one is one my predictions. Don't be shocked if the Cardinals take him at #27. He had an outstanding year last year and has a bright future.

There may be an argument for FISKE at #35, but he's a reach at #27.

There will be a TON of higher-graded talent at the back end of the first round. IMO.

This idea is purely media driven. We've seen the media mocks be wrong.

Fiske is a highly disruptive IDL and guys like him go higher than people expect every year.

#4 - MHJ of bust!

27 and 35 are much tougher to project. I kind of look at both picks and a pool of players that I think we'll land 2 of these players. Those include (in my rank order):

Latu (I think he is a good candidate to drop)
Wiggins
McKinstry
DeJean
Barton
Chop Robinson
Murphy
Newton
Darius Robinson
Rakestraw
Fiske

I won't put any money on specific names and to whom, beyond the top ten.

If FISKE is selected within the first 16 picks of the second round, he will have gone higher than predicted.

i honestly hope we move up with some of our other picks because 27 and 35 doesn't really do it for me - same with most of the guys mentioned here and the few i do like probably won't be there

Higher than predicted by the media who don't work for NFL teams.

This disagreement gets circular real quickly, and I've learned over the years that there is a fairly wide range of value for players.

Fiske was among the top five most disruptive interior players at IDL in this draft and those guys go a lot earlier than the media usually thinks...just like Sweat might go day three when some were mocking him in the first round just a month ago.

This.

Personally I'd throw in TJ Tampa because he is close to the mold of what Gannon seems to like in CB. Big, long, and really good in zone coverage.

Murphy will not be there at #27. He could be teh first defensive player off the board. He is the consensu #16 player in the draft
Agree that it's really unlikely that Murphy is there. Same with Verse and Turner. Id even bet Chop Robinson won't be there.

Latu might because of the medicals and his meh play against the run.

I’d really like to trade off two 3rds and move up higher in the first from 27….
