Some interesting facts about the Cardinals and Ellington

The Cardinals are currently 8-1 when Andre Ellington has at least double digit touches. Also the only game that the Cards have lost in their last 8 was the game in which Ellington didn't play against the Eagles. The 49ers are the only team that has beat the Cardinals when Ellington has had that many touches.

Ellington has become very valuable to the Cardinals offense. He creates matchup issues for the opposition, and they have to pay more attention to him; which opens up other options for the Cards offense.

That and he is damn good with the ball in his hands.

They said on the broadcast today that he was projected as a third rounder, but he ran a slow 40 due to a bad hamstring. Teams weren't listening when he told them he was hurting.

This is probably not news to some, but it was to me. Great draft pick, at least so far.
