And I've been a fan of the Cards long enough to be thankful we aren't playing the Dolphins this year either. A game we should win without question, much like the two 49er games this year....

Nope. The 1989 Cowboys' lone win was against the Redskins in week 9, however it was sandwiched between two Cards victories in weeks 8 & 10.

The Cards were responsible for one of the 1988 Cowboys' three wins.

After starting out 1-3, the Cardinals won six in a row to get to 7-3... then lost their last four. IIRC, after losing to the Redskins in week 13 by a 20-26 score, the Cardinals were eliminated from playoff contention, so they didn't have much to play for in week 14 vs. the Buccaneers.

I'd hate to think what would've happened had the Buccaneers not already won their first game in week 13 vs. the Saints!

Coryell won 7 in a row in '74 and 6 in a row twice. I don't think any Cardinal coach since then has more than 4 consecutive wins.
