that really stinks, I doubt he will be back from that until next year. he's had a good spell of late. Tim Hardaway Jr. was also injured in that series, not sure when and if he will return. Unlike Maxi, he was playing very poorly.

I doubt this is even necessary. I imagine Thunder fans are far more pumped about this series than Mavs fans. Plus, it's not the NBA Finals, so how many Mavs fans really want to pony up and travel for games 1 and 2?

Maybe what they saw happen to Philly with the Knicks fans spooked them. Again, no reason to worry when you compare Knicks and Mavs fan bases

I have friends in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and it's not uncommon to travel to Oklahoma for their casinos.

I can understand why OKC would want to have a true home court advantage but they're one team where it comes across quite exclusionary. Why not allow Washington residents? They stole their franchise.

Dallas is right down the road from OKC like 2 1/2 hours. It’s like a straight shot to

Yeah it's a really easy 3 hour drive to from DAL to OKC.

And by the way, we didn't "steal their franchise" any more than Arizona stole the Cardinals from Missouri. Sometimes the best thing for a team is to move. It happens. Let it go man.

DAL vs. OKC should be a great series!

DAL good on both sides of the ball, is a 50 win team, and is playing well late in the season!

This series could easily go seven games, but I'll say the Thunder in six! :)

Nope.

They were absolutely stolen.

Clay Bennett and the rest of that ownership group are trash bags

I wish nothing but the worst that that crap organization.

I just wish Kidd could actually coach a little so I would have more faith in the Mavs

Was the league supposed to delay the series for the Clippers? You can only play the team the seeding sets and Dallas won a series I didn't think they would. The way you constantly make excuses for other teams winning and the Suns losing is comical. It's never a case of the better team winning unless the Suns are involved and they win.
Not making any freaking excuses simply stated fact, they beat an injured clippers team! Making excuses for other team wtf yo even talking about geesh bunch of ninnies in here. Clippers looked like world beaters when they were healthy, they were not which allowed Dallas to beat them never mentioned the Suns or any other team what the fudge is the problem?

Nope. You’re dead on. Kawhi didn’t play one game in the 2021 WCF. So, I guess winning the WCF wasn’t a big deal according to @nashman logic.
Yeah because that’s what I said… you guys are freaking ignorant! Dallas got out the first round over an injured Clippers congrats that’s all lol freaking nonsense in here! Take your personal attack and shove it cheese!

Nah, the move from Seattle was rich dude flat out stealing a team from a city, he bought them with the sole intention of moving them, made completely absurd demands upon the city that were designed to be rejected and then left for a lesser market and lesser arena.

And the only reason it was allowed to take place was because the Bennett and David Stern were long time chums. He also flat out lied to Stern and the league repeatedly.

I don't blame the fans in OKC but it was revolting and Bennett is a scum bag.

The Pelicans (the Hornets at the time) should have been the franchise to end up in OKC. New Orleans has never supported that team and the arena is and was an absolute dump.

The Suns are so screwed for the future.

Every team above us is not only deeper/better/younger, their best player is just much better than ours/makes a bigger impact. We’re going to become the lesser version of the Dame Portland Blazers with Booker as our best player.

I thought the Wolves would be strong in this series but didn't really think they would win game 1. If Denver loses game 2..... They won't be able to stop them.
