What a roller coaster eh? One of the hardest types of games to watch is one you dominate and still almost lose.

Anderson: Major up and down, had some great throws, hopefully some practice with fitz evens things out, most his passes not to fitz looked nice. He ahd a fumble but id have to see it again before I lay blame.

Hightower: fumble problems hit us last year at RB and are back again. 2 costly fumbles by hightower during an otherwise good game.

Hyphen looked great too.

Breaston - the game changer, solidifying his role as #2. Great game, great hustle on the forced fumble, offensive game ball.

Komar: under the microscope with ball handling issues.

Dockett and campbell were beasts as expected. Porter had a lot of pressure and seemed to be held every time he was going in for a sack but never got the call. Haggans had a great game but a few costly penalties. Rhodes shows flashes of great plays to come all year.

Wilson: your are the poo, sir. sack, 2 picks, dominance.

Cromrartie: expect a little better

Toler: solid game, proves he should start.

Sam Bradford is the real deal.

Come on man if Bradford hadn't played like a rookie the Cards are 0-1.

I agree with everything you said, but...

JOEY PORTER barely showed up today!!! We still appear to have issues with a lack of edge rushers. Haggans way outplayed #55.

I thought that DRC had a pretty good game.

Needs:

1. Punt Returner.
2. RB Coach to teach these guys how to hold onto the ball.

Can we just cut Doucet already and just give him an injury settlement and bring Onrea Jones back?

1. Breaston's strip of that defender after running down the field was the play of the game. Great, great hustle. His other catches were great, too. Awesome game.

2. AW - 2 picks, sack, blocked FG - what more could you ask for?

3. Timmy's fumbles, and especially his last one (regardless of the bad call) is INEXCUSABLE.

4. I give DA credit for hanging in there when he got hit hard. I was trashing him in the chatroom, but he hung in there. But god that accuracy... I hope with more practice time with Fitz that they'll get it together... I hope....

5. Toler played extremely well, as did LSH.

6. Jerheme Urba- I mean Max Komar... yikes, man.

7. Every one of our starting OL except Lyle had a holding or false start call. (edit.. actually I'm not sure if Keith did, but either way, DA was harrassed all night, and they need to play better!)

8. Levi Brown... ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Bradford is going to be a stud.

10.Underwhelmed by 9-0's play today...

I agree. I didn't see J Porter do much today.

?????????

He was HUGE at the end of the game, had a hand full of hurries, and hit/knock the ball out while thrown.

Porter looked better than any OLB'er I have seen in a couple of years for the Cardinals.

Komar makes the special teams look really bad.
DA is going to send most of the receivers to IR this season.

I do like the depth on the DL.

First off, congratulations on the victory Cards fans. Your "D" really stepped up in the 2nd half(as did Breaston and a few others).
Incredibly hard fought, physical game. The better team took care of business.

I will say that as a Rams fan i'm encouraged though, despite the dissappointment of this tough loss. The once ridiculous gap has closed between these teams, and i look forward to the rest of the season.

Best of luck.

Good luck to you, Bradford looked great for his first start, your defense showed some team play, you looked like a real NFL team - I hope we crush you later this year, but good luck on the rest of your season :)

Surprised that Fitz was targeted 15 times and had only 3 completions. That won't happen again.

The sad part is that when we stopped targeting him so often is when we started moving the football. It will just take a bit of time.

Post game thoughts.

Hightower fumbled once every 3 games last year. I really thought it was more often than that. I will give him slack for now.

The biggest problem I have with Whis is how he leaves his tackles on an island. Brandon Keith was getting his ass kicked all game and no adjustment was made. I can't figure it out.

Hightower has fumbled 4 times in his last 6 NFL Regular Season games. 5 times in his last 8 games when including the playoffs. He isn't that good and it shouldn't be tolerated. He deserves to be benched, even if it means starting LSH. I am not saying that he shouldn't play, he just doesn't warrant the starting spot as long as these issues persist.

They only looked good because the Cards were bad. Bradford threw 23 incomplete passes and 3 interceptions.

Meanwhile our garbage heap reclamation project threw 19 that nobody caught and the Cards put the ball on the ground 7 times.

If we hadn't been Ohio State playing Kent State we'd have lost.

Thank you Steve Breaston for pulling our fat out of the fire. Also to Lyle Sendlein for holding on the the fumble with 1000lbs of people pulling at it.

43 carries in his past 6 regular season games and has fumbled 4 times. Almost 1 every 10 carries. Not good.
