In regards to the pro bowl roster's, I believe that there should be two SS's selected, not one and three inside/middle LB's instead of two. There should also be an extra slot open for special teams player, be it K, P, returner etc...based on amount of votes.

This was Wilson's end of career pro bowl selection based on reputation. Many players get one and Adrian deserves this one. His play certainly didn't warrant it as he himself admitted in his classy way.

A. Rolle should not have made it over K. Rhodes. Not even close.

Graham should have been an easy selection at punter.

Dockett, Feely, Graham, Fitz.

Only players I could vote for this year.

Am I the only one who notices that Graham isn't getting any hang times on his punts this year?

I've been trying to figure out whether that was the case or if our gunners weren't getting down the field as quickly. I've concluded that while it may be a mix of both, Graham doesn't seem to get the hang time he did last season.

I am not sure why anyone thinks Graham is deserving this season. He was absolutely robbed last season but he hasn't been that great this season. His average and Inside 20are down and the Touchbacks are up.

LSH deserves to be there though.

The "popularity contest" argument is a pretty stupid argument to me. We may not agree with all the selections but the players selected still have to produce on the field. Was Greg Jennings immensely more popular this year? Devin McCourty must be the most poular rookie ever. I will agree to a point that a player's rep, and reputations are earned by their play, is a small factor into it. But the players and coaches know who produces on the field, and who doesn't. Us fans, other than our favorite teams, usually only see highlights which leads to dumb threads like solely blaming Antrell Rolle for Aaron Rodgers putting up 40+ points on the Giants defense. Maybe the thread title should have been Rodgers owns 2-time pro bowl safety Antrell Rolle.
If it was a popularity contest, how come Mark Sanchez or Eli Manning weren't selected? If it was me I would have voted for Rhodes over Wilson but players/ coaches know going into a game that they gameplan and have to account for guys like AW and Dockett, not so much guys like Toler/ Rhodes yet.

It's his 2nd. He was like the 5th alternate last year and made it by default.

Either way it WAS by default. It's an asterisk appearance. He wasn't a true pro bowler.

Levi and Deuce were our best olineman. Of course they were pass protecting for the worst QB's in the NFL. Throwing over 65% again. just not being injured in Whisenhunt throw like you hair is on fire no matter how bad you suck schemes, desreves a medal.
Keith didn't make it!

of course they would be pro bowl on other teams, but hey thats the price of being Cardinal, ask Beanie and Matt, You better play for the money only, because Whiz only starts the under dogs, the talent can rot and die, for all he cares.

Somebody mentioned Mike Adams, Adams wouldn't sniff the field as a CB on other teams, He failed as our 3 and 4th CB miserably, yea he gets exciting 1 out 40 plays but, WR's slobber when they see he's covering them. ST maybe? He's a scrub, and the single most reason for our worst defeats last playoffs, Whiz kept him this year.

Andre Roberts is so much better than Everson Griffin and Bruce Campbell at the 100th draft pick. I'm so happy I could just poop!
I mean they were only rated top 20 prospects and those silly draft evaluators are so stupid, they didn't know Andre, Williams or Komar, Max's talent level.

The big silly's anyhow don't know anything about the nFL draft.

Sweet pollys in trouble, I can't be slow its hip hip hip and away I GO! underdog!

pro bowl is pointless anymore anyway, with it being before the super bowl the top 2 at each position usually dont play and they are the true pro bowlers.

Since when has the top two at each and every position always played in the superbowl?

Tell Dockett that he wasn't a "true pro bowler" to his face, tough guy! ;)

No I dont know what you meant. You said "each position" That implies all of them.

If thats not what you meant then don't say it.

Pro bowl

The Pro Bowl is an honor. It matters, it means that fans, peers and coaches said you were the best at your position this year.

Like Levi last year Card fans killed him players and coaches recognized he was defending an immobile old QB throwing like his hai was on fire.

If that doesn't make Levi proud, there is something wrong with his attitude. There is not, I think He's up for contract soon, Dallas will probably pick him up too, after we invested in his development.

I hope the Cowboys take Levi as well.

they will

they will too, and Beanie, THT, Deuce, Lyle, Breaston, DRC, all they can afford as soon as the RFA is cleared from this "no salary cap" CBA transition period.

We'll have AW, DD and Fitz for one more year. If the they don't stay with the Players union so they don't have to come back to the Cardinals!

I don't know, but pretty sure that a locked out player under contract has a better chance of becoming a FA sooner.

AW and DD aint getting more than they got coming elsewhere, but Fitz will!

let the contractual games begin,

I hope the Cowboys take Levi as well.

Ok ill be sure to clarify every single letter I type so that you can understand the underlying point instead of taking it at face value.

Regardless of whether or not they went to the superbowl, the top 1 or 2 at various positions often decline playing in the Pro Bowl so as not to get injured or whatever.
