Just posted this in another thread, but he's a lot more expensive than DRC (even as a free agent he'll get tons of attention/$$$) and has the same tackling issues that made DRC a concern for Horton's offense. It sounds great in theory, but I'd think hard before throwing a ton of money at him.

here is the thing... at the very least assuming he is cut (or traded for that matter) it knocks another CB down the list to us...

At the very least we should in theory get a higher rated CB because of this even if it is not neccesarily Samuel...

and that is a good thing

according to Greg Cosell DRC/Nanmdi are press CBs, and Samuel is a zone coverage ala Pitts CBs... and because of that Samuel is GONE...

That is exactly who we need... a zone converage CB with a knack for the ball...

Big numbers... but the cards have the cap room that no other team has for it...

Meaning if the Eagles actually WANT to trade him no one BUT the Cards would have the ability to absorb his contract... meaning likely a 3rd or a 4th would do it....

honestly a guy like Samuel is EXACTLY the kind of CB I want PP7 learning from.. so it is more than just the cap figure...

Very well said. As far as the Cap holds the next 3 years flor Asante too, is the fact that the Cards still have a ton of money they HAVE to spend to get to the Cap Floor. Sounds good to me. Might be Hightower shipped if they're thinking sending a RB out in a trade though. Especially since he's the one that hasn't signed his tender yet.
