Zaven back to Middle Backer?

Im in the move zaven back to ILB camp. He is a vet in the Gannon/Rallis scheme (is actually the longest tenured vet in the front 7 since they came here I believe), has experience at the position, has athletic ability. Not saying he will be ground breaking- but he’s an upgrade to what we have and can allow Simon to learn the defense, instead of throwing a 4th round rookie in the fire

Citation: Akeem Davis-Gaither played for Appalachian State, only notable accomplishment was Sun Belt Defensive player of the year. Been on the bengals for 4 years, one of the worst defenses in the leauge, and he couldnt find playing time.

Cody Simons awards and accomplishments have already been listed... I think this is a clear upgrade.

We would have said the same thing the past few years about White, Barnes, and Mack. ILBs don’t transition as quickly as they used to; Collins was better than Beej the past two seasons.

This isn’t Madden; these guys are gonna take time to adjust to the NFL. They’re also not all gonna work out. People are already moving Kei’Trel Clark and Elijah Moore off the roster.
