My Suns Big Board looks like this for the moment-
1. Deandre Ayton: Absolute freak of nature. Has the potential (with the right coaching) to eventually be the best big man in the league. Pair him with Booker and it's just a matter of finding the right players to surround them.
2. Luka Doncic: I would pay a lot of money to be able to root for this guy in Phoenix the next fifteen years. Remarkable basketball player with franchise-altering-level skill.
3. Marvin Bagley III: Still not sure about his fit as a 4 or a 5 with the Suns, but who cares? Make others fit around him. This kid's upside is ridiculous, and his floor is also probably the highest in the draft.
4. Trae Young: He had arguably his worst game in college yesterday. He scored 29. What makes him special is his combination of scoring ability and floor vision. I could see him coming in and making all of our other prospects look better.
5. Mohamed Bamba: Bamba is a defensive game-changer with offensive upside and a special person. The fact that I have Bamba fifth in this draft speaks volumes about how amazing this draft is.
6. Michael Porter Jr.: Elite scorer with fantastic size. He could be an absolute star, and the only two reasons I have him this low are back concerns and a questionable fit with the Suns. Still, at this level of prospect, I don't think you can worry too much about fit if his back checks out.
7. Jaren Jackson Jr.: Great size and length, a block rate that nearly rivals Bamba, and shooting over 43% from 3. I don't think he's a star, but I do think he's going to be a very good player.
8. Collin Sexton: Huge upside, but I worry he's in the Westbrook mold. He's a great defensive fit next to Booker and an intriguing offensive option, but I'm not sure yet I fully trust his shot and decision-making as a point guard.
9. Wendell Carter: I think he has the most "Booker potential" in that he might have even more to offer than what you see in college because he's playing next to Bagley at Duke.
10. Mikal Bridges: I love him, but drafting him would leave us with a surplus of wings and not much else.
