Yeah, but they are doing it in the most Jets way imaginable and Rodgers is also in there and not particularly likeable - so there will be a ton of noiseWhy are people defending Saleh???
He’s pretty much been crap as a HC from the get go.
I think it’s a good move by the Jets. He’s not your guy, move on. I wish more teams would be like this. It’s not a knee-jerk reaction. He’s been bad.
My point was why get security involved?Well, they've never fired a coach in season...so I guess they figured that's how other teams do it?????? That's all I got.
Maybe they needed to? People don't take to kindly to being fired all the time. Maybe he got a little heated and they felt security was necessary. It happens more often than you think. My point was why get security involved?
Dude is about to get millions and a nice vacation why the humiliation of walking him out like he’s gonna tear up the place on his way out?
Weird, because it had already been posted that it happened in the 70’s in this very thread. Dork.I specified it then
I was escorted out one time. Gave my two weeks notice and my boss said the Big Kahoona wanted me escorted out. I was going to a competitor so I guess they thought I would steal secret documents or something. I found it humorous. Got paid for the two weeks and started my new job the next day (for over twice my previous salary to boot). My point was why get security involved?

Yep. My direct supervisor apologized all the way out. I told him it was all good and, like you, shook hands and went on my way.I been escorted out a few times. Mostly because my boss was a bitch. I always hated working for wussies.
Regardless of an escort I always shook the man's hand and thanked him for the opportunity. My character has never been determined by another man's weakness
Agree completely 100%. Great post.I don’t much care for AAron. Have to wonder how that went down.
Their message board must be a mess right now.
There is something fishy about the whole thing. It would not surprise me one bit if something non-football related was in the mix.
Don't make me report both of you to yourselves!Weird, because it had already been posted that it happened in the 70’s in this very thread. Dork.
Yeah. Pretty standard in some companies. I was escorted out as well once. Pretty undramatic, despite me having no clue why they felt that was necessary. Just weird as it was not standard! I was going to quit anyway, so I just walked away with 5 month salary, because they couldn't justify it besides the CFO hating my guts.I was escorted out one time. Edit: Could be worse, at least he didn’t come to work and find he was locked out like some owner we know did one time.
Long winded way of saying it happens. Especially when the Big Kahoona is a douche. LOL
He's already a known liar, so I wouldn't believe this statement at all.Adam Schefter

Aaron Rodgers on the
@PatMcAfeeShow show about whether he had any role in the firing of his former head coach Robert Saleh. “I resent any of those accusations because they’re patently false.”
So Carton had a great piece on this and he talked to several people in the organization to put it all together. Apparently this all stems from Saleh getting with some coaches on the plane back from London and deciding to change play calling for the Buffalo game. Salah can't fire Hackett, but he thought maybe just trying another person calling plays for one game would let them see if something could be done to fire up the offense. There is something fishy about the whole thing. It would not surprise me one bit if something non-football related was in the mix.
Sheeez, walking into his office and firing him. No chill there.Just heard a reporter spoke to Robert Saleh after his firing and he said Robert was blindsided by the owner walking into his office this morning and firing him. Also reported that apparently the GM didn't even know it was going to happen.

Though numbers will always be relatively small, New York reportedly has the largest Palestinian community in the US....so I doubt it was politically motivated. My wife said she read where it was intimated that it may be politically motivated by a patch he wore during the London game.
