There is no doubt he is the heart and soul of this team. I would get his agent and talk to him about what it would take to get a two year extension right now. Not just for him, but for the morale of the rest of the team as well.

It's really all about the guaranteed money. Two v three should be pretty easy to work out given the amount of cap space we have.

It would give all the fans a "feel good" opinion about the team. And, also include Budda. JMO.

David Johnson before he stopped caring about football would be close. But Beanie and Edge didn't impact the game the way Conner does.

It just depends on the structure. You can give him a 3rd year as long as it costs little to get out of.

Loved what Orlovsky said about JG considering him an assistant coach. On a young team that needs solid veteran leadership he is essential.

I said this to a few friends.. Conner has been one of the better RB we have had. The guy runs hard and fights with a 10.

When was the last time we had a RB that has given us multiple years of good production. It's always been 1 good year and then they fall off.

I would guess you mean a 15 mil sighing bonus? If that the case his cap hit year one is 11 mil but you're paying him 21? I think that is a bit rich for the first year. And you have no Injury protection. I would think if you do that he would only get 2 million in base salary the first year then split the 8 remaining at 4 and 4.
