Rams are waiving the white flag
Niners aren't too far behind...all depends on McCaffrey coming back in the next week or 2
Seattle is super inconsistent...not much different than AZ

Just go for it Monti... don't mortgage the future, but if theirs a reasonable upgrade to me made, make the deal.

I still don’t think the Cardinals are in position to be buyers at the deadline. No. 20 in DVOA and a negative-28 point-differential does not scream playoff contender. Beat the Dolphins and then it can be considered.
Up yours, Kyle :)

If this is the type of thinking that is in the building then it's no wonder we are 3-4. Games like Washington and Green Bay will happen if the mentality of the organization is "we are not a playoff contender".

It pisses me off that we haven't gone hard at making this a playoff team. The schedule for us to make it is just sitting there in front of us. Even if we lose to Miami.

Win or lose against Miami, I don't think we should be making any trades. This team just isn't very good - which is basically just the offense. The defense has performed as expected or better.

Disagree. No real difference between 3-4 and 4-4. Monti should be on the phone.

Nothing major but guys like Joseph-Day, Shelby Harris, Ojulari, Adam Butler, Osa Odighizuwa, Josh Uche, James Houston, Dayo Odeyingbo and Zach Harrison, would cost little.

They could bring Cam Thomas back for a conditional 2029 7th...

Titans have opened up shop, Jeffrey Simmons please! The Saints look tattered, maybe we can trade for/sign Chase Young to something reasonable.
Chase Young has been such a disappointment after the injury. Still we could have him and Burns on this defense.
Granted they didn’t foresee the BJ injury but still, there were guys with pass rush ability to be added in the offseason.

Simmons and Young have only combined for 2.5 sacks this year but that would be gold compared to what the Cards have now.

"We suck so we should continue to suck. Why should we get better."

What on earth is this?

Hell Ill just take making the QB uncomfortable. I don't know how Herbert couldn't find the endzone against us. Dude had all day to throw.

If we could bring one of each spot from this list. Robinson with Joseph-Day with either Ojulari or Smith pass rushing would be a huge upgrade. A #1 CB would be nice too, help the development of the kids a bit more too.

Edge
Azeez Ojulari
Za'Darius Smith

DL
Sebastian Joseph-Day

CB
Greg Newsome II
Jonathan Jones

Our upcoming schedule includes the Panthers, Patriots, Jets, Bears, Dolphins, and the walking wounded in our division. Only the Vikings are actually a good team on our remaining schedule. If we can't scrape out 6 wins out of the next 10 games we don't deserve to make the playoffs. These teams are weak sauce.

Would have been really nice if we would have anticipated (as many did!) that the NFC would be down this year, and actually went all in to put together a really good team!
