This missed layup I was nerding out over where Dunn rolled and challenged was Dunn so even when he wasn't guarding him, he was.

oneale did work tonight - clutch on both ends - when he and dunn are on the court at the same it's effective

The real MVP of this game was Bud for pulling the plug on Nurkic in the second half.

Indeed that was a championship level coach to immediately recognize the issue and pivot. Vogel would have played Nurk the whole game.

Real talk is Frank that much worse than Nurk in this offense. I say no.

It's nice to have a third center when Nurkic is off. Frank and Gillespie would be nice, but the Suns would have to let someone go.

Maybe later in the season they bring Kaminsky back.

It was a fun game. Durant was terrific. So was book until he shriveled at the end throwing up a twrribke shot against Davis and then being so spooked by Davis that he threw a pass to a guarded oneale who had to heave to beat shot clock. Glad those didn’t cost us. Dunn is a player. Seeing bud have the guts to sit Nurk most of the game was great! Vogel and Monty wouldn’t have done that. They’d have been too rigid.

Not much Monte Morris or Grayson tonight.

Nearly every minute he played.

I can't fathom how good Dunn will be at this point.

As much as I dislike them, they are a pretty good team when healthy.

As long as Anthony Davis is healthy, the Lakers are a very good team.

LeBron has a streak of 1220 plus games scoring in double figures. Dunn almost broke that streak tonight. LeBron had to score in the last minute to keep that streak alive.

the moment isn't too big for dunn - he's just chill af - out there defending multiple olympians in his first few games - one of which he freakin started - and he's just ready to rock - like it's familiar or something - lock down lebron on a possession - knock down a 3 over lebron - penetrate and score - ON LEBRON - no big deal

They suck, it never should have been close.

Do you have any idea how silly you make yourself look by repeatedly saying the Lakers such when they routinely make the playoffs? They’re a perennial playoff team with two of the best players in the league. Are they title contenders anymore? No. But they are a playoff team no matter how much you hate them and wish they sucked.

I mean, we all WISH they sucked. But they don’t and haven’t since AD joined LeBron.

No Oso, JO, Morris, Bol, Allen, DLee. And still won. JO, Allen and Bol has minutes last season.

Hate to say it but Allen looks out of place now that some holes have been plugged.
