WTF was Okogie looking at? You are behind the three point line with a guy dribbling your way. Then you are surprised by the pass? Really?

Please teach these guys not to step back on their first step. Okogie has done it at least twice tonight.

People are still buying tickets to Suns games, so is it just us that are negative about the Suns?

There are younger fans still into seeing KD, Booker, and Beal. The fans I see on Facebook skew younger. Ive seen some podcasters claim we're a trade away from contention also. I think this board is more negative than the fan base as a whole but I think it's age based as well as commitment level. We represent a more diehard fan base while there are still lots of casuals who just see we're above 500 and had injuries so we'll turn it around.

The podcasters I listen to are negative on what we can get back in a trade. Like I said, I always look at it from the other team's perspective. Why would they want Nurkic for example.

Tom Chambers talking about Ryan Dunn only one playing hard. Kind of calling out all the rest of the team.

I'd like to hear James Jones talk about the team. He put it together. The quiet is deafening.

Better yet, I'd like to hear from Mat Ishbia.

There are so many podcasts now it's hard to narrow down. If you check out Suns posts on Facebook though there's a lot of negativity but if you search for groups, they're generally positive. Same goes for Reddit. X/Twitter is a mixed bag, it depends on who you follow but I think some folks are trying to create a buzz that isn't there and won't come artificially. Just think there are teens who started watching in the bubble and are seeing the Suns bad for the first time so it's tough to grasp. It's not that different from the J Kidd days. There's some good players but the collection of players is unbalanced and no one really brings out the best in each others games and that needs to be recognized. It takes a step back from the fandom to realize that though.

If you're rocking Purple & Orange glasses you just see 3 All-Star level players and blame the bench, Nurkic, Coach, etc instead of realizing stars need systems to flourish as well as guys around them to help that star. We don't have that. We have Tyus who helps get the most out of Booker by letting him play SG while he runs the offense. We have Grayson who is a good safety value for KD to kick to when doubled to launch 3's. We have Dunn and Oso who play best with Beal because Beal does play with fire and picks his spots. That doesn't make a team though, it makes 3 teams smashed together and told to figure it out.

This team is a mess. Horribly constructed and no hope on the horizon. Some recognize that, other's don't.

All we'd hear from Jones is how tough injuries have been and once we're healthy we can compete with anyone.

Ishbia has smartly shifted his talks to the business side, like the discount concessions. He knows we're screwed and I'm not sure if he accepts responsibility for his role but I don't see him stepping into it until the off-season when he's got something to sell fans. He's their salesman, not someone to provide any insight.

Setting solid screens seems hard to do for us. For a long stretch, Beal couldn't deal with Braun's D, but nobody came to help to get a switch there. We have a free style offense, and chances often seem random. And our D simply lacks focus and communication, giving up way too many open shots that encourage avg. players to have personal record days vs. us.

beal should've played both halves like a scoring champion but disappeared in the first allowing D
denver to focus on kd - oneale didn't show up till it was too late also

nurk's ******** knows they're going to go at him and get him in foul trouble - everytime - because he gives the joker fits but nah

this team sucks - it's like a racecar that can pull amazing track times but can't make it down the track 3 times to win the event - most times it won't even start - i was gonna say won't even turn over but we turn it over all the time

again i find myself focusing on the second string - particularly the rooks - the defense and energy they bring - not this walk around on eggshells nonsense the rest of our supporting cast pulls

bud... buddy... where's the spacing - why aren't we pushing the tempo - what happened to the small ball line ups to counter act size - where's the physicality other teams have figured out they can get away with - show me something man anything

We will find out soon enough.

My guess is Ishbia is more of a hands-on owner behind the scene, but I agree, front office changes will likely not occur until the off season.

Man… when even my Dad, who will watch ANY GAME IN ANY SPORT, doesn’t even bother to watch the Suns, it’s a big flashing red sign that there are major problems with this team.

I'm curious if we'll lose by more in Denver tonight or the return game in Phoenix on Wednesday.

I wish I could bet on that. Typical Suns getting roasted by 25 or so today and claiming to have improved by only losing by half that 2 days later..
Good call. Only 2 points short.
