is it wrong?
I have not seen anything that proves it so.
I mean, we are talking math here...and math can be made to say lots of things.
Best I have seen is 56 percent, but that was before the Niners got themselves beat by sheattle.... so 75 percent doesnt sound so wrong to me...if one extrapolates our chances of winning our upcoming games Vs the chances for the other teams to win theirs.

But its the internet....worse,...Twitter.... and that graphic while not attached to any particular site is no more or less wrong than the ones that categorize all the teams from "Super Bowl Bound" all the way down to "Sucks swine pharts while huffing helium"

having a url to pff or pft or whatever does not make a graphic any more correct... no more than a link to the NY times makes a meme more true than the one Fat Jimmy made in Home Ec class

this is from nfl,com
it shows that based on us winning this week we have a 75 percent chance...
3. Cardinals (6-4)57%75%44%<1%

44 percent of we lose this week...and a paltry 1 percent shot at the top seed

"Sucks swine pharts while huffing helium"?
I'm 65 and have never heard that but I like it....haaahaahaaaa
Uh oh, maybe it's not phunny, is this a younger generational thing I don't understand???
Don't care, still phunny. LOL

lmao...not generational...just spontaneous.
around here you will find most of us are in the same range 50-65...a couple ancient ones...and a handful of fortyish... but not a ton of generational differences

well **** dude, maybe Joanna is posting from next week??
we all know the internet contains alternate realities and time shifts and Mandela affects and all types of oddities.
Joanna is a loyal cards fan...often travels to see the team...so most of us just post a Go Redbirds, click the heart...and scroll on
Maybe, but I didn’t opt in to Joanna’s nonsense. I’d love if people didn’t post it here. I don’t want to put BiM on ignore, because he has good opinions of his own.

Keeping perspective is important. This is the same team that got crushed in two games and blew a good lead in another. Remember how close 3 of the victories have been. One bad snap would have spelled defeat. This is not a dominant team. They certainly could make the playoffs, but Super Bowl talk seems overstepping. In my mind this has been a fun season with lots overachieving. If they can’t sustain with this limited depth that’s understandable. From Ossenfort down the entire team deserves credit for giving us this terrific season.

Sensible post. I’ve mentioned it a couple of times to remember who our last 2 opponents were.
We have been very competitive for the most part and our losses have all come to very good teams.
If we can somehow manage to win 3 of the 4 “ swing state” games we will be playoff bound.
The division games hold the key to controlling our own destiny. In today’s NFL it all depends on which team shows up from week to week, the game plan and injuries.

I would like to see a WC win this season.. I think thats about as far as the current talent can take us unless something Legendary happens.

we play playoff style football all season. Our youngsters are gonna get wide eyed when suddenly the opponents are playing the same way... my only worry is a totally demoralizing ass whoopin to end the season like the last time we made the playoffs.
