My point is that i am not sold on the belief that we can pass. I am not sold on Petzing. This came up because I said I was sold on our DC and HC. Let's enjoy the win.
Ok, got ya, we can pass! This was a top pass defense, choices are gooooood.

NFL games have so many plays but I really think the TD run by DeMercado right before the half was a knockout blow, I don't think the Bears could handle that on the heels of the hail mary screwup the prior game.

That was so perfectly blocked and DeMercado hit it perfectly. I've been watching the replay over and over that's probably the best blocked run play since a big Tim Hightower run ages ago, maybe Chase had a huge one up the gut in a game but he didn't score.
Great execution by Arizona but if you’re Chicago….they need to fire Eberflus. He came out of halftime saying he called a “pass pressure” on that 3rd&5. Then he spewed some garbage about how they were going to stick together. Arizona kicked the snot out of em.

Sorry I couldn’t join in the game time chat. I was at my sons house and forgot my glasses.
What a game. I think if anybody say “ but Kyler only had 150 yards” they should be banned.
A total team victory. We reestablished that we a brutally good running team.
Six sacks(?)
Kicking team again was flawless.

Can the defense be this good.

On a bad note. This might put to sleep any thoughts of acquisitions.
Not even close!

I agree with all the positive vibes from this win. Rallis actually blitzed a lot, their OL was banged up with players out, and their QB sucked. The defense is definitely nowhere near this good. Let's hope Monti doesn't fall into the trap.

I think the Bears meant to do this with the punt. I think they were trying to get the Cards to muff it back to them with the short punt and packed field but the Cards outsmarted them and immediately called the fair catch.

The in game commentary made out like it was a bad punt.

QQ - Is the safety punt treated like a kick-off (have to get on the ball) or a punt (you can let it bounce/die)?

If like a punt, might have been smarter to get away from the ball. Especially since it was so high/short.

Not sure. I think the problem is that the bears can engage in that zone so always the chance they push a Cardinal back into the ball, especially if they get an odd bounce.

Was at the game and happy to see the Bear fans so quiet and leave early. Don't know why their coach Eberflus left Williams in when the game was basically over and he was taking a beating by continuing to pass. He should be fired. Bottom line is that this was a very satisfying win for the Cards.

Murray with 2 carries for 6 yards. Don't we always lose those games?

Lost the turnover battle by 2 and still won.

Murray hit 3 times to Williams 12 times.

Can you imagine that locker room!

Murray hit him in his weak spot...his hands.
And behind him so he had to slow down and turn around to bring in the pass which allowed the defender to get to him quicker. Hit him in stride and he catches, turns, and makes a huge gain on that play. I miss the old days when Murray would hit guys like Kirk in stride for huge plays.

More than likely he will be.
