The Nets are reportedly open to trading anyone on their roster.

Too bad there's no way the Sun could acquire Claxton.. He'd fill a need, fit well at Center, and is signed through the next couple of years.

Day'Ron Sharpe is interesting. Not sure what his value is. He's not worth a 1st though.

Nick Claxton please. Can we trade Nurk and future first for him?

Sadly, I don't see how it could happen. The Suns can't aggregate salaries in a trade.

Claxton makes $27,556,817 this season and the Suns highest paid player after the big three is Nurkic who makes $18,125,000.

Too bad they started playing Knecht. I was hoping their ship would go down with the father and son combo.

It's funny how much of the focus has been on them drafting Bronny and Knecht has been able to fly under the radar a bit. He flashed in the final preseason game almost singlehandedly beating the Suns and now has had a repeat performance in a regular season game. He scored 18 consecutive points in one stretch of last night's win. And he's only been playing about a month now. The rookies who also had 9 threes - most of them did it much later in their rookie seasons than Knecht. Great draft pick. Surprised he fell to us.

Knecht is tremendous shooter and player. He could well be the rookie of the year if the Lakers don't hold him back. I've mentioned before, they have excellent scouts.

I dont think Claxton is tradeable yet.

Beal for Cam John and Bogdanavic works.

The question is, why would the Nets do it? They are rebuilding.

Also, Beal has a no trade clause.

The Pacers are signing 7'2" Moses Brown. One less big man in the market.

The Warriors lose De'Anthony Melton for the season. He reportedly will need ACL surgery.

Melton has turned into a solid player. Wish him the best. Still salty the Suns gave up on him so quickly. I liked Jevon Carter also, who we got as part of the Melton/Josh Jackson trade, but the Suns didn't hang onto Carter either.

Melton is a nice combo guard though. Sort of like an Alex Caruso. Any team would benefit from having him despite not being a true PG. He can play bigger guards or keep up with smaller guards. Hopefully he doesn't lose any athleticism.

If any team can weather the loss, it's the Warriors. They have nice depth in the backcourt.

Acl surgery and recover before the end of the season. Uhhh nooo.

I had his surgery and rehab mixed up with someone else. Can't recall who now. You're right though, he's done. He should be working himself back into shape for the start of next season.
