people will try classify this as some career defining game for kyler but it isn't - and im not sticking up for him

two defensive coordinators controlled this game and while rallis held his own the seahawks did better

biggest thing was they wanted it more than we did - i still believe our offense to be the more talented of the two - i guess we'll see in a couple weeks but today wasn't about talent it was about domination

today was about the war in the trenches and we aren't who we thought we were - and we better fix it because the Vikings are already studying it

season isn't lost - the dark siders will vent but i see kyler having one of his best games again next week - provided he doesn't get murdered behind this line

Hope so bro - I’m not about to sit here and say I want to replace Murray, not even close - but he has to play better, WAY better, for us to have a shot at the playoffs this year.

This is a real solid take BGT.

Not a great game by the Cards...falling back into a multi-team tie for the division lead is NOT good. KM has always been a Jekyll and Hyde type of QB. We have to understand that and hope we see Dr. Jekyll next game and not Mr. Hyde.

Sanity

This was a team loss.

I’m really surprised that his team came out flat and completely lost.

I love JG but he has to get the team ready.

Defense wasn’t great but came to play. McBride was nails as usual but K1, JC, Oline (way terrible today), and MHJ need to look in the mirror.

Petzing is still ready to be replaced imo. Dude has had a lot of duds and is an anchor around JGs neck.

It's not like we are some Juggernaut of a team that was going to run off an 11 game win streak to finish the regular season. Today, our offensive line got beat up physically. Couldn't run worth a damn, struggled with protection.

We will probably lose in Minnesota as well. The season still won't be over. We will still control our destiny in the division. But the Seattle game in two weeks is now the biggest one left. Win that one, we are still in first place in the division with 4 left.

No overreaction for me.
Td called back on a holding call.
Another td missed by a toe tap.
Missed An int late in the game by 2 inches.
Damn good game plan by the Seahawks. Give them credit before calling everybody an epic failure.

Encouraged by the fact our “ weakest” part of the team held our opponents to 10 points.

I’m looking forward to our second match up but now we turn our attention to the Vikings.

Love it brother!

I think you are right on some things.

Refs were absolutely atrocious this game.

We are young and losses like this come with that.

I still can’t stand Petzing.

I can see us losing to Minny and then beating Seattle at home.

and kyler sucked today when it counted - on more than one occasion

petzing didn't throw the interception - and gannon didn't throw it 5 feet above McBride's head in the enzone - those were money plays that money qbs make

im not over kyler - some feel vindicated when he has a good game - others when he doesn't - but he is special and nearly unstoppable when he's in the zone - best qb we've had that wasn't already 30 something when we got him

but he sucked today

Kyler reverted today. No two ways about it. It was a day where he wasn't given great protection and it made him skittish and slip into bad habits. Running backwards into sacks, holding the ball too long, being scared to take a hit--which led directly on the play to 6 points the other way. It was ugly.

That said, he wasn't alone in the loss. Petzing was laughably outcoached. I mean, he was pwned. OL sucked. No run game. McBride became McBonehead. We had one of the worst two-minute offenses in league history at the end of the game. Then, when the game was millimeters from being out of reach anyway, Ryalnd misses to seal the L. Brutal.

The D looked awful at times, but still didn't give up many points.

Usual suspects out in full force.

Kyler’s play was a direct result of the o line having their butts handed to them. The Seahawks dominated our line (especially Leonard Williams) and that was the game. There is no qb in this league who is going to be successful with no run game and barely any time to throw in adverse conditions. Kyler deserves maybe 5% of the blame and the rest goes to the oline.

I thought Kyler sucked today, but he was pretty awesome the previous four games. To me, he’s still a work in progress under Gannon. The rest of the season will tell us whether or not he can be the man for a playoff team every year that can actually contend or more of a Kirk Cousins, who makes the playoffs on and off but doesn’t really have “it” to make us a year in, year out contender.

The Cardinals didn't put much effort into establishing their run, which is their bread and butter, and it made them a lot easier to defend.

And it still could have been a win if not for two plays - the long Seattle screen pass before halftime and the terrible pick-six in the second half.

Eliminate those two huge mistakes and Seattle didn't do much on offense.

K1 didn’t play well today and the oline was downright awful as well.

Both things can be true.
