I do not understand this argumentation.

Does scheme not play a part in this?

Herbert is having one heck of a season, but he is even further down the list

shocker - they're not argumentations - they're stats

I notice that 4 year gap between graduation and his first stint with the Browns.

so apparently being an economy philosopher didnt work out so he decided to be an NFL coach.
How did I miss that option?

Hmm.. so supremely not qualified to get an OC job. Boy those Zimmer Vikings offenses sure were stagnant until he left.

An easy argument that the WR coaching is deficient.
WR coach also being the pass game coordinator is a double whammy. Maybe its too much responsibility for him or he's just not good.

PHNX crew says the organization really likes him, but I need to see more.

Im not buying the reduce Kyler Murray mistakes (just as is). I think some of that is influenced by the last two games and even a couple of those terrible ints were on 4th down.

I think its more to reduce 3 and outs, short drives that puts the defense back on the field.

Well, I did find something that says our Offense is #11 and Defense is #17. Not great, not bad. As for the age card, my wish is that one day you get to play it. Comes with a LOT of problems, but better than the alternative.
My grandmother attended a pub crawl in Newport Beach we threw for cheese’s 30th birthday. As she was exiting El Ranchito a large bouncer stopped her and said “ma’am you can’t take that margarita outta the bar.” She gathered all 4 foot 10 of herself, craned her neck to look up at the 6’5 muscular bouncer and said, “I’m 94 years old. I can do whatever I want.” And proceeded to walk outta the bar with her margarita unimpeded. YOU PLAY THAT AGE CARD, AND YOU ENJOY IT!!!

Why are we running this particular scheme?

I think it's what Petzing trusts. It is weird because he was a WR coach in Minnesota and a TE coach in Cleveland. So you can understand why he likes TE's, and frankly I do too I always liked it when Kliff ran multi TE sets too.

But it is odd we're such a run oriented offense with a guy who as a position coach was WR and TE, not RB or OL.
