The thing that scares me the most is the possibility that Murray catches lightning in a bottle and has a career year in 2025 so the team decides to extend him or ignores drafting another QB and we get the normal Murray in 2026 and beyond and end up further behind at the QB position long term. I think 6 years is more than enough to realize Murray is a middling QB who is not the long term answer.
The team needs to figure out a way to move on from Murray or at least bring in competition that will pressure Murray to compete for the QB position. I actually think if Murray had someone breathing down his back it would probably break him. He has never had that in his career in the NFL.
