Problem is his (Ayton's) effort and lack of killer instinct pulls the team in the wrong direction. We need someone more serious in the middle. Rather trade Nurk for a PF and go with Plum and Oso at C.

They need shooting and we need size. A deal involving Grayson for Obi Toppin works financially. We'd probably need a pair of 2nd's to even that out. That gives us an an athletic PF/C and them a floor spacing SG/SF.

I maintained the Jazz had zero reason to dump Kessler. He's too young and has too much time left for them to sell now, short of a sweetheart offer.

The haul that the Nets will end up with from the Suns foolishly overpaying for KD is going to be insane. We could have had everything they're getting, maybe more, and a more enjoyable team over the last year and a half as well.
