I think part of this may be a maturity thing. When the season started Harrison was almost not a target. I think he got discouraged. I know many won’t be sympathetic, but this is still a young guy. The Cards seemed to ignore routes that he ran in college to give him these simple crosses and down & outs. Getting open is not a speed deal for him. He also can’t run double move routes as Murray never has enough pocket time and the Cards refuse to rollout Murray. This is clearly a fit problem as this offense is currently structured. I’m not sure if you put Nabers in it, he’d be nearly as effective as he’s been. His speed would help but he’d be suppressed. Plus I suspect others are getting much better coaching.

I think he will absolutely get better, it would be a huge surprise if he doesn't with his work ethic. But there's just some things we're not seeing that are alarming no matter who the QB is.

he just doesn't go get the ball, he's way too passive, he doesn't get YAC, he got like 4 yards today and it surprised me because he never does it. He's made some spectacular catches in the end zone and we're not seeing the big drops anymore but if he's not going to play like a big fast guy, at least play like a big guy.

He’s not used to nearly every catch being contested. He will get more aggressive because of this. I believe his YAC is a product of the routes he runs. I don’t doubt his ability to improve.

So far you have blamed the owner, coach, GM, offensive coordinator, and now the rookie receiver. Maybe it might be your hero Kyler’s fault that everyone else is not as successful as you would like?

I don’t need him pointing fingers and that other stuff. He’s handling his business. None of these games mean anything.

I still say Marv is not nearly as good as Trey at getting open at this point in their careers. I get that he's not going against CB's, but nobody is asking Marv to block LB's and pass rushers either.

My point really was Trey didn't struggle as a rookie becuase of Kyler, he wasn't healthy so he wasn't nearly as good as he is now.

I have no idea how they computer catchable throws but I see week after week where virtually every ball Marv catches there's a defender right there, unless they fall down like against the Rams, he's almost never wide open.

I don't think Marv's problems are solely a timing thing I just don't think he's as good(yet) as we thought he would be. Most of the backshoulder issues for example are his fault, he doesn't pick up quick enough that's where the ball has to be thrown.
We're seeing improvment, he's not dropping balls every week now, and he came back for a couple of throws today something he wasn't doing, but still overall for me he's been very disappointing.

The one play that I noticed (thought I noticed?) was on the one interception he just kinda stopped after the interception (gave up?) and didn't go after the guy.

I think people were asking why we drafted him when he couldn’t even get snaps ahead of Maxx Williams On One Leg also.

I know people like to surface that discourse but few were calling him a bust. Lots more about the risk of drafting a TE high compared to other needs.

This doesn’t jive with the effort we see on the field week to week half assed running routes. Not chasing down players who intercepted Kyler. Not fighting for balls.
