1 – Season’s over.

2 – Many say that the Cards are ahead of schedule in their rebuild, as a reason to not be too upset that they will again lose out on the playoffs. Bulls***! I want to win, and I want to win now. This sucks.

3 – When is Prater coming back?

4 – Good that the draft will be filled with quality defensive linemen.

5 – I have found (in my mind, good) excuses for Murray for years. Not anymore. It is the stability that is my main problem, because the potential is very obviously there. At least a third of the NFL would kill for a quarterback like Murray, and you can see why in several games. But then there is the other half of games, the ones were he cost the team. The difference between his floor and ceiling are way too big, so even though you can absolutely win with Murray, I no longer believe that he can take the Cardinals deep in the playoffs.

That said, what’s plan B? If you don’t have that, the instability with Kyler Murray is still better than the horrors with John Skelton, Kevin Kolb, Ryan Lindley, or whoever else you can go to that level with.

6 – I really like the black uniforms this year. In fact, they have nailed all three uniforms this time.

7 – Looks like Isaiah Adams is now the starter at right guard. I like it. Way more potential than Colon.

8 – On most snaps, Geno Smith could have had time for a cup of coffee in the pocket before the pass rush even got into his sight.

9 – Realistically, the highest draft spot they can get to is probably #10, if they lose out.

10 – The offensive line was clearly a strength until the bye. I am pedagogically educated, but I still cannot find a more diplomatic way to say it than that they have sucked ever since.

Yeah.. the "ahead of schedule" thing is total BS. A second year rebuild should be in the 8-10 win range and we decided to stay at that mediocrity level on schedule because we did nothing in FA when there were bonafide studs at Pass Rusher and others that could have helped this team. This is the schedule the team decided on... not to be a playoff team... in a weak year in the NFC.

Unfortunately, we are stuck with Murray until 2028. All we can do until then is build the rest of the roster and hopefully we can find his replacement.
what?! Do you guys watch or pay attention to the rest of the NFL? The idea that we're stuck with Kyler until 2028, when the Broncos LITERALLY HAD THE SAME ISSUE with Wilson, cut bait, took the cap hit and are still likely headed to the PLAYOFFS, is beyond me.

Excellent post. But I’ll concentrate on Kyler.
He can win games but he will lose an equal amount of games. That’s.500 and it’s not good enough.
He doesn’t scare anybody anymore. Sure he will have a highlight off script play but teams will accept that, especially now since he’s not running.
He simply will not beat anyone from the pocket.
Any Pressure makes him fold up like a freshly washed towel.
If he is such a “ superstar” and there are a lot of teams that would love him then let’s find out who those teams are.
I’d take a Derek Carr right now. And before you laugh take a look at Carrs stats.
It’s not that we can’t cut ties, its simply Bidwill won’t. MO can’t make him do it and JG will continue to take the blame for Murray’s shortcomings.
So as fans we are stuck with Murray and his limitations and “ he needs a better surrounding cast” bull **** next year and maybe further.
Our rebuild will start over with a rookie qb or journeyman in 2 years.

I’m not giving nobody passes here, but I have no clue why some of you guys keep believing this.

North is dominate.
East has a great & a good team.
West looks to be coming alive with Seattle & LA.
South the only one that is down.
still think our divison is weak - Seattle's run is buyoed by playing our joke of a team twice and the atrocious Jets in the last 3 weeks. The Rams are Jekyll and Hyde and the Niners are as mid as it gets.

There are basically two good divisions - North and East. West is Mid, South stinks.

K1 looks scared to run. His throws are too high 80% of the time.

We can't string a back to back good defensive and offensive series together to save our lives.

Petzing is the most boring and predictable playcaller in the nfl, with gnat size balls.

Our WRs lack the ability to get separation.

Our pass rush is nonexistent.

We left $20M in cap on the table.

The in game fan experience is terrible, with the focus on high dollar empty field level seats.

Raised season ticket prices when we were mid.

Offensive line and penalties are regressing rapidly.

Run game is predictable and relies on broken tackles.

Our best rookie hasn't adjusted to the NFL game yet and isn't on the same page as the QB.

We coach not to lose, instead of to win.

I don't have to buy playoff tickets, so I guess that's a win.

I know I’m going to get laughed off this board but I think Jameis Winston would be awesome in this offense.
I know he throws picks but he also puts a lot of points on the board.
Plus, I think god is going to answer his prayers to not throw pick sixes next year.

Post game conferences would be wild. He's such a character.

The West is always going to be tough as long as Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan are with the Rams and 49ers. Those two teams have had a ton of injuries, and yet, they're both still in it.

The Seahawks being 8-5 with a rookie head coach worries me. What if that guy turns out to be legit? Then we're in for some tough years ahead in the NFC West.

MacDonald is probably as legit as they come, the defensive version of McVay. He's the Shanahan killer.
