I'm all good with this. Do they move Jalen?
Is there some other Budda on the team Im not aware of?Awesom resign for cards big budda fan
Bong rip passion fruit kush hit to baker makin big ints
Yes you are. Back to the force with you.No. But dont care Im not paying it.
No can do until after the season. I think they have to wait until the new League year starts. He earned it! Happy to see it. Now time to re-sign McBride.
After the season before free agency. Salaries are only going one way - up. Do it as early as possible. No can do until after the season. I think they have to wait until the new League year starts.
Yes I'm not sure but I believe they have to wait until the new League year starts March 12th the same day as the beginning of free agency. Not sure when they can begin negotiations? But they have time he's still under contract for next year. After the season before free agency. Salaries are only going one way - up. Do it as early as possible.
Yeah. Similar to the Conner extension Budda will not outperform this contract but the years were more important than the dollar amount.
My guess is he plays out the last year of his deal next year and then he we let him walk. With what Buddha costs now having a cost controlled safety at the other spot for a few years will be helpful down the line.I'm all good with this. Do they move Jalen?
I will say, the tears streaming down his face after that championship win is burned in my memory forever…Not sure if you heard or not, but around here we don’t criticize ADub
So what you are saying is Baker is a quasi linebacker who plays deeper than normal and not really a safety which would account for his number of tackles. The luck is being in the right place at the right time.
Budda is mostly playing in the box, his opportunities for interceptions are very few.
I don’t think he’s tradable but a post 6/1 release is a big plus cap-wise and offsets some of Baker’s money. Rabbit is a true ballhawk and should mesh nicely with the developing CBs. Likely pick up a vet backup of a late round draftee.I'm all good with this. Do they move Jalen?
Please. They are not cutting Thompson to create cap space. As if we are going to be such huge spenders in free agency we will need a paltry few million to sign draft picks.I don’t think he’s tradable but a post 6/1 release is a big plus cap-wise and offsets some of Baker’s money. A very good deal, much better than I expected actually.3 years only 30 mill guaranteed. Pretty good deal for both sides.
Yes, yes he clearly is. 2nd in the NFL in tackles, and the fact he can cover as a safety or play in the box makes our defense much harder to diagnose.I’m glad he’ll be around for 3 more years… but is he an 18mil a year player?
Budda's average tackle this week was made 7.5 yards downfield. Tackles are great, but if they're not accompanied by a single pass breakup (NOT ONE! -- He has three passes defensed THE ENTIRE SEASON), I don't really understand what we're doing here.
Pay him; we have too much money already, but Cards State Media pumping up Budda Baker with 0 INTs and 0 forced fumbles in 2024 is peak lipstick on a pig.
