They used 1 timeout, right? Still had one in the bag, I think. With 2 minutes and at midfield, there really isn't that much urgency. That's plenty of time to score and leave zero time for the other team...which is exactly what happened and the Panthers even burned a TO on the drive.

I’ll just disagree if the guy doesn’t grab Trey he likely is able to jump and catch the TD. The whole point of running was to burn the clock and not give it to them. We used a TO but only had two because of the stupid challenge. Not to mention they likely go for it on 4th down. If anything they went away from Connor too soon hand it to him and let him pound in the TD it’s 4 down territory when you’re losing to the 3-13 panthers. Worked out perfectly so seems weird to complain about it the way the rest of this game has went lol. All good….

Probably...the ILB play has been the biggest difference for the defense today, IMO.
No need to spy Young if the tackles rush under contol. You can’t open the middle like that when your team is playing man. There’s likely no one behind you in the middle. A spy ties up a player from coverage and Young actually doesn’t run that much
the panthers are the patriots without a promising QB. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be bullying them
