You’re still losing half a year of getting your program really started right off the bat with an injured kyler. And have we hit the value period of kylers contract yet? Doesn’t seem like it. And what idiot coach is going to be swayed by a highlight video of any player? These aren’t college coaches that have to scour thousands of high school players for talent.

Do I think there were coaches who still saw potential in kyler? Sure. But to think none of the above didn’t cause every coach at least some pause seems awfully naive.

IMO we slow-walked Kyler last season as part of the tank. I don't think that he could have started the season, but I think you could have got him in week five or something.

You want to pitch the guy by showing the best parts of your program. Kyler being the most exciting player in the NFL becomes the frame -- not the guy whose choked in a half-dozen playoff qualifiers.

I'm sure that candidates had pause about Kyler, but you have to at least try to get the Harbaugh's into your building and close them. We couldn't close the deal with Sean Payton and look where we are and where he is (with less resources in terms of draft capital, no less).

This isn’t 1994. An ACL isn’t a death sentence anymore. I don’t think that would discourage a coach. And anyone smart could see that Kyler’s contract wasn’t crippling at the time and likely to seem like a value in a year or two.

A smart team would put together a highlight reel of Kyler’s most mind-boggling plays — at his best he’s maybe the most exciting QB in the NFL. Unfortunately we’re run by dunce Michael Bidwill.
The organization is afraid of losing out on its investment, (Kyler getting hurt again) to play him how he is most dangerous. They've taken out virtually all of the designed runs and are for the most part keeping him in the pocket. If that's the offense you want to run, Kyler isn't the answer. Either get rid of Kyler, or play to his strengths.

This is depressing.

As usual, K9 gets it.

Andy Reid..... Peyton Manning...... Sean Payton...... We are the candidates leverage, not the candidates choice. And in a market like ours, with the lifestyles we can support locally, and this weather, that is a crazy concept to wrap your head around.

Simeon Rice was mostly right. The players survey is and was completely deserved. What the AZCard's social media feeds give to us is not the reality in the building or in the league. And that only can come from the top.

Bump. After losing to arguably the worst team in the league (their defense definitely worst) in a MUST WIN game, where are the sheeps and deniers now? What a **** show.

This franchise will go NO WHERE with ANY of these 3 figure heads (K1, JG, MO).

We know K1 is trash and cooked. Enough “debate” on the midget, he’s a cancer to this team and forum.

After 2 full seasons with MO and JG, we have no talent, no discipline, no player development, poor execution, no passion or edge from JG. Player acquisition and drafting has been absolutely horrible and the praised re-signings of Froholt, Collins, Connor (slow aging RB) and Baker (box safety) show the people in charge still don’t have a clue how to build an NFL team.

Stick with any of these clowns and you will continue to see SFS sold out with opposing fans.

I’m out until these 3 idiots are gone. #sameoldcrap

Probably won’t happen with MB’s cheap ass but these losers have to go. Need to find a coach and QB with real fire in their guts and hearts.

K1- we’ve seen enough of this clown. Next year I’d rather root for Jamesis and a rookie than this pouty B. Who cares about the cap, I’m sick of watching K1s crap.

JG- have you ever seen a more lifeless and emotionless coach? In any sport? Looks like a dead fish on land. At first, wow he’s really under control. Now, he has control of nothing. What other coach doesn’t get emotional with a ref or player from time to time? LaFleur was going to fight a lions fan on the field. During a game, JG looks like he’s watching an episode of HGTV. Has any player improved under his coaching?

MO- “smartest man in the room”. Passes on Will Anderson for PJJ and some magic beans. PJJ will be Levi Brown. Takes MHJ over Nabers, Alt and Bowers. How about trading down for Max Melton? Passed on Dejean and other CBs. With however many draft picks MO has had, how many look like blue chip pro bowl players? I’d say 0. How about his FA moves… Justin Jones, Nicols, SMB, Jonah Williams were the big fish. What a complete and utter failure. Not to mention tampering the hire of JG which cost us magic beans. But he re-signed Froholdt!!! Lol
They will all return next year but if we miss the playoffs again you gotta can JG and MO, they've had enough time to do something and in the NFL you can go from worst to first so it doesn't have to take "years" anymore .

I think as has been said in many places it's highly likely Kyler is back. I mostly like Gannon, there's things I disagree with, kicking the FG against Minnesota for example, but I think he's done a good job. I'm not high on or down on Petzing I think he's good in the run game and has to improve in the pass game.

there's only 2 teams I see that would make sense to try and trade Kyler, the Titans and the Jets, no idea if either wants him. I think it's far more likely he's back.

I have seen a bunch of people saying whoever Minnesota gets rid of, Darnold or McCarthy, we should get. Darnold is projected to get 40 million per on the open market, I think he can run our offense but I'm also highly skeptical his one terrific year is now who he is.I never liked McCarthy in the draft but I do see where he fits the Petzing offense, played in a run oriented system at Michigan and did well, smart kid, taller than Kyler, had a good preseason was the frontrunner to start before he got hurt. I like him better than Shadeur that's for sure.

But if you're trading for him our most valuable piece to trade is probably Kyler and they won't want a QB back so we'd be unloading draft picks when we desperately need them to add talent on defense, and a speed WR. So I again don't see us making a move at QB this offseason unless a really good deal falls into our laps.
Nice take Russ!!!

I'm all for moving the team. Treating symptoms doesn't address the root disease which is Bidwill ownership. We hoped things would be different under Michael, but they aren't.

They are one of the few family owned teams that didn't sell when the patriarch died. No way Michael sells, and it doesn't look like he will die anytime soon.

You get what you pay for. Cheapest coach with cheapest staff. 2nd Choice GM because we wouldn’t pay the first one what he wanted (who also is terrible anyway).

spend next to nothing in FA and the money you do spend is quixotically spent on journeymen defensive linemen from terrible defenses.

Been going on forever. If my father wasn’t transferred from New Jersey to St Louis in 1967 I could have avoided all of this pain. Just never ends.

Where is the proof of this? He had 7 of the top 90 picks in the last draft. Who is a legitimate contributor of that group?
Are you serious? MHJ, melton, benson, rabbit, tip, and adams have all gotten a lot of playing time.

That is very good for a rookie class. Robinson has good potential as well,

I am actually very happy with his drafts, they have both been above average in my opinion.

Gannon stays.
The conundrum is Petzing and or Kyler.
One or both have to go. Either you think Kyler stifles Petzing or Petzing stifles Kyler or both suck ass.

I’d start with Kyler.

Petzing stifles kyler..because he very obviously wants an in the pocket prototype QB.
The problem is, he can't manage to call an affective game even when kyler stays in the pocket.
They both desperately need a change of scenery

Coaching was a positive with the D. Just so little to work with. Offense should have been better with the run game we had. KM not performing in the big moments and lack of imagination is on the coaching staff.

Wouldn't matter if they moved anyway. Everyone on this board would still be here every week complaining...but then they would also complain because they had to give up their tickets
Speak for yourself. The day the Cards leave AZ I cease being a fan.

Never understood being a fan of a team that abandoned your city.
