Speak for yourself. The day the Cards leave AZ I cease being a fan.

Never understood being a fan of a team that abandoned your city.
So why suffer through being a fan now? If they leave do you just give up on nfl football? Or do you choose a new team to support?
If the answer is the latter,...hell, you can do that now and not have to suffer through this crap every year.

Most of us just don't have the option to just swap teams or drop football entirely. Too much emotional investment

Does Petzing really stifle Kyler? He gives him 200 yards rushing all Kyler has to do is manage the game and not make terrible plays and interceptions. A QB's dream.
It's the play calling...and the play design.
At least with kliff there were nearly always guys open. Kyler just never looked their way.

Been going on forever. If my father wasn’t transferred from New Jersey to St Louis in 1967 I could have avoided all of this pain. Just never ends.
Yup. If me and Ouchie’s Dad had moved to San Fran instead of Phoenix to start his practice, we could have been Niners and Warriors fans instead of Cardinals and Suns.

Small difference in the rewards offered for fans between those four teams.

Why would I support a team I have zero connection with? I support the local teams because they support the community.

Are you serious? MHJ, melton, benson, rabbit, tip, and adams have all gotten a lot of playing time.
Is that not a function of the talent around them? The fact is, none of them have been major difference makers at all this year. All have shown flashes, but no big impact.
Robinson has good potential as well,
That's what they say - we'll see if he ever ends up being an impact player. He's a 1st round pick. He should be good.
I am actually very happy with his drafts, they have both been above average in my opinion.
Time will tell, but so far we've had a lot of high draft choices, and very few surefire above average starters from a bounty of picks.

At times he absolutely does.

The play before the INT for example it's 2nd and 11 after dumpoff lost a yard and he calls a wide run for Carter that loses a yard. Kyler probably should have checked out of it but why in the world are you running your backup RB on 2nd and 11 down 3 points?

If you notice how often we're in 2 and 3 TE sets, even after Conner went down, you see how conservative this offense is. I think it's because of the lack of talent at Wr, but you're just not built to throw the ball often with the offense we're running. For that reason I think the Rams would have routed us next week assuming Conner couldn't go(or Benson).

My guess is Kyler is the qb next year. I hope we look into every possible change, trading him, draft etc but I hate this QB draft, I don't want to be the team that gives Sam Darnold 40 million a year, and I'm not sure who else there is that we can get so unless some team really wants Kyler my guess is he's back next year.

I hope we load up on the DL, and get a Wr with some speed, or someone like a Thielen that can actually consistently get open.

I was a die hard Chiefs fan until the Cardinals moved here. Had split allegiances until the early 2000s. Now, I really don't give a poo about the Chiefs. Of course, NOW they are great much to the delight of my 85 to 500 relatives in Kansas.
I grew up a Raiders fan..they moved to LA and back,?.. I moved to phoenix...started following the redbirds right away since it was my fault they moved to Az,...still follow the Raiders but my "Diehard" shifted to the cardinals around 1992 I guess...
My biggest fantasy is to get to watch a Cardinals vs Raiders super bowl

IDK. I think Kyler has the right to check out of the play called. He just doesn't have the ability.

Like I said he probably should have checked out of it but I don't get the call in the first place unless Kyler audibled in to it.

I'm not sure but for example the 4th down play where Carter got the first, I think that was an audible by Kyler. At the LOS he reset everyone and acted at least like he was audibling.

I’m truly sorry. Both teams are insufferable.

There is only one spot we need to clean house and it is with the Bidwills reign of incompetence over this franchise. It is amazing how bad this franchise has been over the years. Being that consistently bad is truly hard to do but they seem to do it with ease. Bring in George Costanza and do the exact opposite please.

Yes. yes. Not saying Kyler is a world beater, but Uncle Festers offense is absolutely poo and only works with a GOOD to great defense.

So plan wise off the top of my head.

Guys we will definitely keep as starters, PJJ, Froholdt and probably Jonah Williams. I wouldn't be surprised if we change at least 1 guard but they both could be back. Conner, and Benson for sure back, if he's recovered DeMercado too if the back heals. MHJ and Wilson for sure. Obviously McBride, I assume Reiman. I assume Kyler is back but if they can improve there they should.

So you HAVE to get a better Wr to add to the group, at least 1.

Defense I assume we need to upgrade at edge, DT, and another LB. I assume Thompson is gone. So you want to get a DT and an edge in the first 2 rounds and hope D Rob improves and keep Lopez and Stills. I'm good with White and Wilson, hopefully Ojulari comes back, drafted Edge, Zaven. Have to get better both at rushing the passer and holding up inside against the run.

I assume Gilligan is the punter and Ryland the kicker. If Kyler is back need a better backup.

So in one FA and draft we need to add a starting speed Wr, a starting guard(probably), and probably 3 starters on defense.

But we will probably end up replacing even more. I don't know if Melton showed enough to start and I don't want Murphy Bunting back for example. So somewhere between 5 and 8 new starters probably needed next year

One problem with your plan. If The same Qb this offense will still be a problem.
