Off to a really nice start - can't say I was expecting a ton, but they are playing and beating legit teams and cleaning out against filler

Will await the conference schedule grind, but it looks like they have some better pieces this year as far as being able to hit shots

Florida is showing just how far the Devils are from being a legit top 25 team. Currently down 24 with 11 mins left in the game, and it’s not even that close!
Is this the end of yet another annual Hurley team early season mirage? I guess we'll see.

It’s hard to blame Hurley… seeing that Florida team with all that size and athleticism and talent… I then watched the UCONN-Gonzaga game and what is crystal clear is the huge chasm in recruiting. Bobby doesn’t have the ability at ASU to attract the talent needed to be competitive against the top 25 teams in the country.
That said, both Quaintance and Joson seem to possess top 25 talent. We’ll see how they progress and if they stick around.

SEC basketball is crazy deep in talent this year. Florida is only the 5th highest ranked team in the conference and they are number 9! The SEC dominated both the ACC and then the BIG 10 in head to head matchups. So, I don't feel like this was a bad loss. Wish it was closer, but the team will continue to improve. Au lost and they just don't look good. Not sure what is going on down there.

With Austin Nunez out for the season, ASU basketball looks to get some in-season help in transfer Trevor Best.
