Does Dejean count as well or does Garrett being elite in the slot make it not an issue.

Maybe Max pans out, but he's another one where you wonder if they should have taken. Just figure out how to use two really good slot corners.

Elijah Jones....N/A most of the year. He better show something next year as well.

DeJean is better but it also helps he has one of the best DL players in the league in Jalen Carter.

I don’t think it’s wrong to point out these dudes have thicker room for error due to a much better supporting cast around them. That doesn’t mean Max would be as good as them or they still wouldn’t be really good if situations reversed. Their GMs have done a great job.

This is a great breakdown but the draft pick goes deeper than this due to what would have happened had we picked Anderson.

Also I have zero idea if PJJ is the guy. Anderson looks like he might be an All Pro. Tough to swallow that pill for me.

Paris was selected as a Pro Bowl alternate this year so his peers think he is pretty good. I really have no problem with how he has played and he will start in the NFL for a long time. So, he is Monti's best pick so far IMO.

That said, I wanted Anderson and never would've made that trade. If we had re-signed Zach Allen and drafted Anderson we probably would've made the playoffs this year.

Well, this may improve your 'zero idea.'

PJJ has a PFF grade of 80.8

Laremy Tunsil, the starting Pro Bowl LT for the AFC, has a 76.5 overall grade.

Not inconceivable. At the very least we have the dl at a level where it's not the problem, and a couple more wins very possible.
