They were all pushing and shoving if we are talking about the same play.

lots of things didn't go our way tonight but heart and lack of effort were not on that list - i don't know if we can build off this but the team came out with a different mental - dare i say a battle state of mind - multiple players produced - a few started cold and bud actually stuck with them - we didn't win but come on - id gladly watch that effort if it were to continue but who knows

This was an entertaining game. Sucks that they couldn't get it done in the end but Memphis is a good team playing at home. The offense in particular was flowing very well for Phoenix, and the team shot exceptionally well from 3. Defense is still a work in progress and while that Clarke offensive rebound was what killed them eventually, they did well on the boards.

All in all, I'm happy they at least showed some heart and pride. On to the next...

This game was the definition of how nebulous Durant's value is.

On paper... looks like he had a pretty good game.

But almost everytime he touched the ball, the offense ground to a halt, he was awful in the clutch and just went it seemed like we might pull away in the 3rd with a 10 point lead he went "Durant mode" and gift wrapped the opposition 3 baskets from just brutally stupid turnovers and tacked on his own brand of "dribble for 20 seconds and brick a contested fadeaway or chuck the ball to a teammate who has to panic shoot as the clock runs out" offense.

For bonus negative impact, he also doesn't really bother to get back on defense after he bricks shots or throws the ball to the wrong team.
