I think it's both, but one series shouldn't define a team, though. The Wolves are a tough matchup for sure.

Where was the replacement for Nurkic?

One series doesn't define the team. It did showcase our weaknesses and others continue to exploit them.

Like I said, the Suns regressed. They didn't address their weaknesses. Not replacing Nurkic is a part of that.

It doesn’t help that seems someone in opposition always has a career night from 3 when playing us can’t think of how many times that’s happened this year but seems like a lot! Gordon just stupid from 3 tonight for his career high dude never shoots like that. Suns always let someone get hot then ignore them and let them continue to rain down threes it’s madness!

We needed defensive depth, preferably bigs. The Suns have long been haunted by other teams having someone have career nights against us. That seems a theme I remember going back to the 90's when I started watching regularly. I'd like to see a season where we don't let some scrub set career highs against us but I doubt I'll ever see that.
