I honestly feel the owner of the Mavs, Miriam Adelson, is trying to force her way out of Texas so they can be the NBA's team in Las Vegas, Nevada. I think she thought convincing Texas to legalize gambling, at least in one city/area, would be easy. She's made it clear she wants an arena with a casino/resort right next door. She isn't getting her way so suddenly Luka is gone, and they have destroyed the fans' trust of the franchise, raised ticket prices, etc.

More of a reason for the NBA to have gone over this trade with a fine tooth comb. How many young superstars are traded?

Looking back, the Hornets trading Terry Rozier to the Heat for a future 1st-round pick looks like a huge steal.Charlotte will receive either a 2027 lottery-protected or 2028 unprotected 1st for Rozier.Rozier’s 50.6 TS% is one of the worst for any rotation player this year.

ACL surgeries typically take 10-12 months to get back on the court, but even longer to fully trust the knee. My guess is he'll come back on a minutes limit sometime after All Star Break next season but won't really be himself until the season after.
.
Kyrie was averaging nearly 40mpg the last month because of injuries. He already has a lot of wear & tear from a lot of long finals runs. This all-NBA caliber version of Kyrie is probably gone for good. He turns 33 this month and might not be back before he turns 34.

The Mavs are cooked and should look to move AD (probably by the new GM this summer).

If Jokic wins another title then he should be in the GOAT debate. One title isn't enough, IMO. He's definitely the best Euro in league history right now.

Isiah Stewart is a dirty player. He hit Butler in the head then followed through elbow to head. They called the foul reviewing for a flagrant now.

Less than a minute early he got in GP2's face and was trying to stare him down and the ref warned him, then he brains Butler.

He's such a big strong guy it's dangerous being as dirty as he is.

Cade Cunningham's improvement as a shooter is impressive, he's a great player now because he can shoot

And they said not a flagrant no malicious intent.

And now he is on the bench and pushes Curry who's on the court. Then starts jawing with him and makes hand gesture talking about the size of Steph's "manhood."

They called double technical on both.

The Pistons were -7 last night with Schroder on the court. Partly because it means Cunningham is sitting, partly because Schroder, an ex Warrior, knows much of the Warriors plays and was actively calling out plays and sets, and the Warriors started scheming decoy plays to fool Schroder.

The biggest play of the game with the Warriors down 1, was a set play out of a timeout to get Steph an open 3 where he sets a screen and then curls out and gets the ball. Schroder not only top locked Steph, he was basically holding him not letting him go and calling out the play.

Jimmy Butler, who's been with the team only a few weeks saw what was happening and rather than try to drive the ball himself, against Cunningham, he just threw the ball to Draymond and told him to shoot. And Draymond railed the wide open 3 to put them up 2. If you see the replay Steph and Draymond exchange yells and fist bumps after, apparently that's why, they were laughing at how the play worked because Schroder knew the play and called it out so everyone on the Pistons just ignored Draymon and he made the shot.
