@Bada0Bing what top 500 list are you using for this? Curious to check out if they gave any reasoning behind the rankings. There's been a few head scratchers on how they're top 500. Like the Grace Jones song.

Head scratchers indeed. It was really hard to find a list this big, so this was the best I could do. I think MTV had one, but hadn't been updated in like 20 years, so I went with this one in hopes all the best ones would be included after we voted out the junk.


Criteria: These music videos were chosen for their direction, choreography, art direction, special effects, editing, cinematography, overall creativeness, innovation, and influence.

Thanks for the list. I think RollingStone had one but it might have only been top 100. Unfortunately this list doesn't have what I was hoping for. When I asked about it I was hoping that they wrote a little blurb about each entry. RS usually does that with their lists. I wanted to see how they justified some of the picks.

Yeah I used Rolling Stone's top 500 songs for my family bracket. It was a great list. Lose Yourself beat How Soon Is Now? in the finals 4-1. Took about 3 years lol.
