Will Hernandez out for the season

They had to change the scheme as Colon didn't look good on outside pulls. The pass-protection suffered. Insides runs looked solid. Colon rated absolutely horrible in pass-blocking per PFF.

Will Hernandez out for the season

I Think thare was a Big drop off. I’m curious if petzing Keeps Colon as the Safe plan Or insert Adams Or Gaines. Adams IMO would probably not skip a beat in the run-blocking. But pass-blocking would suffer

2024 Black Friday Coach Firings Tracker

Yeah. Pretty standard in some companies. I was escorted out as well once. Pretty undramatic, despite me having no clue why they felt that was necessary. Just weird as it was not standard! I was going to quit anyway, so I just walked away with 5 month salary, because they couldn't justify it...

    Offense & O-line analysis - Week 5 (GREAT W)

Missed last week due to a presentation to the board, water pipe broke and flooded our apartment & of course me absolutely not being in the mood to re-watch the Commanders game. Observations I was highly critical of Kyler and Petzing after the Lions game and the first games in general due to the...

Will Hernandez out for the season

Not trying to argue that this will not hurt the team, But the core of this o-Line is PJJ and Froholdt. Brown has Been a Very consistent Good starter. Hernandez has Been more inconsistent with Great games and bad games

FWIW - PFF Week 4 Grades

The Good: PJJ and Froholdt continue to be the anchors of the line. The young players on the secondary continue to be grow - turning into good starters. The bad: Kyler having a bad game affects everyone. The only pass rusher playing at a starter level was a 5th round back-up with 7 total snaps

    O-Line and Offense review - Week 3

As promised, shifting format not to overlap with Gandhi's 10 takes and trying to create something different than two similar threads. As I'm nerdy about the O-line and have most knowledge on the offense, I'll try to make an analysis of each game. High-Level rant... NFL has evolved into a more...

2-2 in the first quarter of the season...

This is best case from what we could expect given the level of the team. 1st half schedule is brutal and we already met the two best teams on the schedule. The sour grapes are how we lost those games, both were winnable

Nabers doesn't fit the scheme as well and seem to have a character that this team do not want.

    BACH's quick notes Week 3 - Lions

Again acting on time zone advantage sitting in KL and already re-watched much of the game. This is going to be last time I post this. Gandhi is doing almost an identical thread weekly, so do not want to steal his thunder. As I'm a OL nerd I'll try to post a weekly OL analysis instead...

2024 Twitter Thread (News of the Cards)

Rams Offense is hurting. Not the defense. They are just facing reality without Donald. But I do think White is done as a NFL starter - Williamson and MHJ have torched him the two first weeks.. Sauce Gartner is a surprise. Also, of all the perceived great rookies in this draft class, it's...

    After 2 games, record prediction

9-8, sneak into the play-offs. A surprise upset in the WC round, exit in divisional round. The NFC looks to be quite close with the expected power teams struggling at this point, so 9-8 should be enough to make it to the play-offs.

Thursday night week 3 Pats @ Jets

Two teams that looked like what we expected before the season. Jets looked like an outside contender, Pats looked bad. Boring, one-sided flagfest.

    Haason Reddick

That is on the Jets no matter what Reddick does for a potential other team. If Reddick gets 10+ sacks in the last 7 games where he most likely wil see limited snaps in the first half of them before he's back to full game condition, then he's all worth it.

    PFF grades from Week 2

Quick notes. Kyler is the highest rated QB in the league after 2 games. The OL is interesting, so looked at the numbers. Evan Brown is the best OL so far in the season - gradewise, but he is not asked to do the same as Hernandez, Froholdt and PJJ. They all have lower grades that they probably...
