    The Bears got Montez Sweat after a 2-6 start last year, they went from worst in the league at getting pressure to somewhat respectable. One guy completely changed their defense.

    I think the injury was really serious. Serious calf stuff is usually closer to 8 weeks than 4 weeks.

    Garrett would be insane, I do worry about the reports that he needs surgery in both feet but is just playing through it. That kind of injury makes me worry about him losing a step. Jeffrey Simmons is the guy I think we're most likely to get, if anyone.

    Man, when the Vikings couldn't get any pressure last year Flores completely changed the system to be the most cover 0 team in the league while also being the most drop 8 team in the league.

    Marvin making mistakes is a lot better than Kyler making them. I think Marvin will start to get in the groove soon. It's common for rookies to get better by week 10 or so. We're asking him to "the" guy in what I assume is a complicated NFL offense.

    He made 9 of 12 last year from 50+ including a 62 yarder in our win against Dallas. I know he had a 57 yarder in our Rams win this year and in 2022 he only missed one from 50+. He's been above average from 50+ and has made a few 60+ yarders for us, I think it's nice having him.

    I think back to the comments Petzing/Gannon made about us wanting to adjust our schemes to the opponent. We want to be versatile! But the problem is when the matchup calls for us to be pass heavy, (Lions, Commanders, Packers) we just can't execute.

    One of the big differences between us and most other teams is they have their first round picks from years past contributing. If we want Reddick back we will have to give back a 2nd rounder at least.

    The Jets have a stacked roster and were supposed to be going all in for a Superbowl push. Their owner has stated this Jets roster is the most talented he has ever seen. Their situation is very different from ours and its hilarious that they have the same record as us.

    I'm not the biggest fan of that stat, especially early in the season. It tends to be dominated by low volume rushers on a time share. I don't see the most efficient guys as being the best if they don't have the yards to back it up. Those guy's efficiency usually tanks whenever their workload is...

    I think the Packers are making the Superbowl this year so I did expect to lose this, I did not expect us to completely meltdown with the 3 straight fumbles to end the game. Luckily I switched games after the 1st of those fumbles.

    That's based on their potential rather than their actual play. Breece has been awful this year by the way. Even if you insert Bijan and Breece into the top 10, Conner would still be in the top 10, its not like he's number 10.

    If that's the trend then we should over perform! The Packers are better than the 49ers this year, by all accounts we should get clobbered. A rain game definitely favors us though.
