    I'm not advocating for or against young with this post, but you can't build a team of choir boys. At some point or another, we will have to bring in guys that aren't considered good characters and trust that our culture can shape them or keep them in line.

    No doubt! That we're 4-4 is a minor miracle, so all credit to JG. Those two games I concede were earned losses, but the absolute bell-showing performances weren't acceptable. When I see the team trying but falling short because of that talent, I can accept that. Those games were definitely not that.

    I don't love going overboard with the praise when he does well (recalling the inconsistency), but man, this was a great segment! And, credit to Kyler, I think he is putting in the work now that he didn't necessarily do in the past.

    I agree with this strongly. One area of his game he has improved overall, not just when he's been outstanding, is keeping his eyes downfield and at least trying to make plays while pressured. It's less chicken with the head cut off routine and more "Okay, duck and dodge, now what's available...

    We weren't merely overmatched--we were crushed in soul-sucking fashion. One game had an incredible amount of INTs. We didn't show to either of those games to play.

    Sounds like a repeat of FA. No excuses for Monti here. He screwed it up in the offseason, he can fix it now.
