I'd love for them to find a spot for him in the organization.

I bet a parlay with the Cardinals losing. Glad I lost.

Eldest Manning son's kid. He's one of the most hyped QB prospects ever, and unlike his uncles, he's a dual threat type QB.

    10 thoughts - Rams game

My favorite is hearing Tennessee fans sing rocky top. In a big game when the team gets a big score and over 100k are all singing...chill bumps!

I didn't think you were saying that at all. Hmm, I think it's the passion that is created by having the alumnis networks and of the students. College football is huge in the American South.

    10 thoughts - Rams game

Murray has shown glimpses of being this good..it's been a frustrating ride, but I've always envisioned him as a guy who could torture defenses. It looks like all that he needed was the right staff and players around him to unlock his potential. I've been a Froholdt truther for awhile now. He...

Rams at Cardinals gameday thread 9-15-24

I don't know if you notice that I've dropped the darksider/kool-aid schtick. Let's just all agree to freaking stop. STOP. I'm not calling you out, but this was the first post I saw, and I wanted to say that I won't participate in this nonsense anymore. There are ups and downs; I know from...

I heard an NFL WR talking about why you'll see your Anquans and Kupps that aren't particularly fast but are still really good receivers: if you run great routes, you can still get separation. The same is NOT true for CBs. There are times that when a CB is too slow, they are just going to get...

Which Cardinal Was the Big Loser Sunday?

Roy Lopez actually played pretty well though.

    Offenses down around the league?

Maybe it's just my perception, but the Cardinals seemed to give up big plays or tiny gains against the Bills.

Wk 2 LA Rams @ Arizona Cardinals Pre Game thread. 09/08/24-09/14/24

As long as Sean McVay is the Rams head coach, I'll never have any confidence in a win over the Rams. I fully expect McVay to just run the ball down the Cardinals throats and to run a bunch of misdirection type plays where it's hard to get any pressure.

I just looked it up and that was the 97 season, but still, very good memory. It's crazy how bad those teams were...we would go into the season with UDFAs regularly making the team and starting.

Cardinals at Bills gameday thread 9-8-24

Agreed. Just a somewhat reasonable end of 2nd quarter and 2nd half and the Cardinals win that game. Or a few better throws at the win and the Cardinals likely escape with a win. There were some positives, and there some things they can grow from. Much more hope (hopium?) that they can actually...

Kurt Warner has said that he is only like 6'0.5. He has said on a number of occasions that QBs don't really see over the line, they see through around the line.

He might not. Their OL is like practice squad players right now. Even though the Bills had some good runs, the counting stats show they didn't exactly run roughshod.

Sort of. They werent expecting to get beaten down handily by a pretty ordinary Saints team The Giants were obviously not all that improved. How dumb do they have to be to look at last years team and think the pass rush was the real problem? They were right to a degree. Over the second half...

Hey and you didn't even mention the Panthers. I was so right on Bryce Young, kid is awful. I couldn't believe the Panthers were so dumb to trade up for an ultra poor man's Brees. They are an extremely bad football team and they have very little hope to get better in the near term.

    This needs to be answered.

Love the optimism, but I've been watching the Cardinals since 94 and rarely does this happen. I remember playing a bad Bears team once and Brock Forsey who was like their fourth string RB steamrolling the Cardinals when the Cardinals absolutely should have crushed them. My optimism is fairly...

And even though the Rams are really beat up, I fully expect them to come out and punish the Cardinals after losing a close game to a good team.

    R I S E ___ U P ___ D A R K ___ S I D E (2024)

Overall I don't disagree. Josh Allen is a fantastic QB, the Bills have a great home field advantage, and they are a pretty well coached team. But the Cardinals had a ton of plays they could have made and they didn't. Just extremely frustrating after all the talk of being dialed in and then...

Man...sucks if true. We've seen the NFL gooble up a number of promising young QBs over the years, and spit them out with no confidence.

While some of what you're saying is true, it's the way the team fell apart down the stretch that is extremely disheartening. The first 28 minutes went well but after that it was rough.
