I think that Kyler Murray's career is finished with his injury

That is not necessarily true if part of the guaranteed money is salary. For example with Murray Spotrac shows part of his guarantee as salary. I don't think the team has to pay the salary part because the player retired. $103.3M guaranteed at signing (signing bonus + 2022 salary + 2023...

I think that Kyler Murray's career is finished with his injury

SO what happens with his contract should he decide he is done with football? Does he still get the guaranteed portion of the contract?

Normally I wouldn't have gone that high but for two factors, Joseph spoke out on Patricia and it's a home game.

    What the Cards Lack

I agree, however what else could give Murray a kick in the pants. He has his money, there is no threat to unseat him from starting QB. It certainly appears that he isn't being pressured to buckle down and do the things necessary to become a more complete QB. The organization as a whole has...

    What the Cards Lack

That is why I keep saying a different coach will not make Murray any better if Murray doesn't recognize he needs to get better. The one thing a new HC could do is tell the GM Murray has to go, I can't work with him or he just doesn't want to be coached up.

Brazil did themselves in by not respecting Croatia the way they should have. I thought they got a bit lax near the end and they paid for it. I always thought of Croatia as a very good side.

Yes, go Brazil, I cut my chops learning from a "A" licensed Brazilian coach so my coaching has always had a Brazilian flavor to it. I do like their style of play.

    Week 14 Elimination Scenarios

Some people will not like this however in some ways I rather the Cardinals just lose Monday so we could move forward. Put the last nail in the coffin we all know is going to come. Hold the memorial service and bury the 2022 season. Then maybe we at least get to see the youngsters play more...

Doesn't sound like a guy who is ready to depart Michigan. On the other side of the coin, he has complete control of the program in Michigan and doesn't have to deal with a GM or owner. Yes, he has to deal with a budget but I'm pretty sure the alumni helps out there. As for recruiting, he can...

I wouldn't put much faith in this. Why would Harbaugh leave a great gig in Michigan, especially since he is now in the CFB championship picture for a disorganized team like the Cardinals. Besides, he's pretty much like his brother in that he would prefer a more run heavy approach to the...

4 Cardinals who have exceeded expectations in 2022

It may not be a fair comparison however that will probably still be the comparison. Maybe the Cardinals should have done the same thing with Collins.

    2022 World Cup Thread

There have been multiple posts here about the US team lacking strikers and creative play makers so it got me to wondering where most of the US players come from. Are they in the US program or do they come from top soccer colleges. The current US roster of 26 players finds that 8 of them...

4 Cardinals who have exceeded expectations in 2022

Like it or not he will be compared to Parsons since they were both in the same draft and were considered the top two LBs coming out and in some cases Collins was ranked slightly ahead of Parsons. That is the bar he will be compared to.

Correct me if I'm wrong here Sandy, but isn't that a part of the reason they traded for Brown? To throw the deep ball.

No, all it takes is a little common sense to figure it out. When you go off the rails you really go off them.
