The last 2 games were terrible with refs. The last one was expected as soon as I saw the guy - he can't control a match to save his life, never has. Tonight's guy was a social breed of assist y incompetence. Result a bit unfair....... But you need to put the ball in the net. There were...

NFL loses $4.7 BILLION Sunday Ticket Lawsuit

Yeah, I'm pretty much always on a delay. Growing up when it was cold and snowy in a small town, firing up a couple of games with a pot of chill or some sausage & peppers was a nice way to spend the day. Now there is almost zero chance I'm around and available during game time

NFL loses $4.7 BILLION Sunday Ticket Lawsuit

From my understanding those were 2 items working against the NFL. Limiting it to a rights package for a single provider vs other domestic leagues that offer their package through everywhere then fee/license based on the number of subscribers Then the all or nothing nature of the package I too...

NFL loses $4.7 BILLION Sunday Ticket Lawsuit

Interesting. This has not been my experience at all. The wage/hour environment in CA is tough and their agencies are also stringent - very difficult state when it comes to employment practices coverage

    The Bear

Exactly what I was thinking. My wife does well with the show, bit that episode put her on edge

    The Bear

Admittedly a limited experience, but the bears I know do like restaurants and trying new foods ..... So maybe it could still work in that aspect......

    The Bear

My wife and I binged the first 2 seasons last summer - took a couple episodes to lay the groundwork, but loved it when it got rolling. Fun the characters to the occasional madness and chaos - it's a lot, but really well done. Definitely excited for season 3

The future of the Coyotes franchise...

He got paid on the sale and didn't care enough about being an owner or being part of the club to figure out what is a somewhat complex, but very attainable, path.

In what business isn't relationship building massively important?!?

    The Bikeriders

This was fine. Not exactly what the wife and I thought we were getting into. Didn't seem like they gave Elvis much dialogue, there really wasn't much motorcycle club criminal behavior, etc. Elements were there, but it was mostly high view/surface level stuff. Was also a very quiet movie...

    The Fall Guy

Saw this today with the family - felt a little long, but was a lot of fun Interesting reading this thread - without it, I would never have known that there was a series by this name There were quite a few older people in the audience, I just chalked it up to Sunday afternoon in Surprise -...

That absolutely makes sense For middle school softball we typically had one ump and that is tough on them. Frequently we'd have none at their actual school because traffic is really tough and the games start at like 4:45. Then a parent would step in and call behind the pitcher - people would...

    The Official US Soccer thread

As a parent I try to just breathe through it, it's not that serious I think part of the challenge is that there are so many games and things do kind of compound and accumulate. It's also all very expensive. This past league season my son's team was away for every game. Home team provides...

    Bodies (Netflix)

I just binged this and really enjoyed it. Agree that the holes and usual paradox type stuff isn't enough to take you away from what is going on. Definitely different and refreshing from a lot that was out there. I also really enjoyed some of the past looks - really dug the Whiteman timeline

    I'm listening to...

Not sure there is a version of this that I don't love. The original by Fred Neil Jimmy Buffett version - I like this even if it's audience video, just Jimmy and then Bobby G on a steel drum. Some storytelling, strumming, singing and smiling

DeeJay Dallas seems to have some hate in his heart for the Seahawks

In fairness, it's basically a blog and not a really good one. It's a "fan sided" site, the cards version is RaisingZona, which I've never heard of....... I get some of the Seahawk "articles" pushed to me from that sure and they are all pretty awful in how they are put together

New ASU Athletic Director: Graham Rossini

I don't know if Crow has contempt or a lack of desire for athletics - he just seems to be completely out of touch and too involved and lacking in flexibility. What has helped him on the academic side, hurts him in the athletic side as he seems to take the reigns based on his perception and...

    Premier League 2023-2024 Season

Ego and money. They're still a major international club with a lot of exposure and there are only so many jobs They also churn managers enough that if you come in with a reputation and it doesn't work out, there will be other suitors I think it's trickier for someone like Hoeness - does...

    Premier League 2023-2024 Season

Really not sure the direction with Chelsea. I don't think Poch did an amazing job by any stretch, big definitely provided a lot of what was needed. Ownership & SDs seem to still have a plan of just throwing high cost talent in the building and then finding someone to do something with them -...

    2024 PRFC regular season thread

I went with my wife and son on Saturday night Probably the worst event parking situation I've had out here - missed both goals and the bulk of the first half. Just a nightmare near the venue - would strongly recommend light rail. Getting out was pretty easy, but spent well over an hour...

    THE Newcastle United FC thread

Then they got run off by arsenal No idea how they finished 6th this season, but here we are. Even have some hope developing in the build and long term plan Hopefully the ownership/leadership doesn't go insane again and just throw pieces with no direction

    NEBRASKA,,,the movie

Just watched this one. Enjoyed it. Could of really funny moments, but a really well acted and put together film that just hits a lot of different notes. The rape/sexual assault line was funny. I loved the bit with the teeth in the tracks. I didn't find a lot of humor in the graveyard...
