Co-worker just recommended this to me yesterday. It's on my list.

Now I'll get out before the spoilers!

My wife and I binged the first 2 seasons last summer - took a couple episodes to lay the groundwork, but loved it when it got rolling.

Fun the characters to the occasional madness and chaos - it's a lot, but really well done.

Definitely excited for season 3

Best show of the 2020s. Bar none.

Can’t wait for Season 3.

All I can say is the title is very misleading as to what the show is about....
Admittedly a limited experience, but the bears I know do like restaurants and trying new foods ..... So maybe it could still work in that aspect......

Got through 2 episodes last night. The 1st episode was interesting...really well done but interesting. Episode 2 is right back into the shiz.

Been trying to watch this. My wife says all the constant yelling every episode stresses her out.

i get that in season 1, but season 2 is a totally different beast. But yeah... it's deliberately putting the viewer on edge in Season 1. But done so, masterfully, IMO.

First three episodes of Season 3 are good, but nowhere close to the excellence of Seasons 1 and 2.

I particularly didn't get into the 1st one. I get what they were doing and parts were cool, but...

Basically a montage episode. Blah.
Yeah… they tried something different, but it just didn’t quite hit for me. The next two episodes were better, but for the first time ever watching this show, my eyes drifted to my phone, mostly because I felt the show was treading over previously covered territory… only louder. I never drifted or felt like that happened, narratively speaking, the first two seasons.

I feel like it is a bit hollow overall compared to the 1st two seasons. I get what they're trying to do story wise...it just isn't YET as fulfilling as the 1st two were.

Feel like this season is getting in its groove a bit more now.
A bit. I have no problem with individual scenes or episodes, but they're doing waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much of the "this episode will just be THIS" this season. Feels like you're distant waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long from certain other plot aspects. For instance, episode 8 was great on the face of it, but the last like 5 have felt the same, all only hyper focused on one thing, so I was jonesing in the middle of it to get back to other things. Which is a shame, because they were chewing the scenery.

I loved this season. The best thing about the series is when two people are just having a conversation, and this season had that in spades. It takes perfect writing and incredible acting to pull it off and The Bear always delivers. The scene in the flashback episode with Tina and Michael was absolutely fantastic. In the moment you felt bad for Tina, but in the back of your mind you were happy for her because you know how it all turns out. On the flip side you have Michael and you love watching him interact with Tina but in the back of your mind you are heartbroken because you know how it all turns out. Absolutely great stuff.

The cameos are distracting this season. Through five episodes and it’s a far cry from Season 1 and 2. Storer originally said he had a 3 season story arc and then they announced they would actually have two more seasons.

So far, this feels like a lot of padding to stretch a 3 season arc into 4.

Oh, you have no idea. I want to read your thoughts after finishing the season.

Also, they beat me to the punch in stealing an amazing Billy Friedken quote and passing it off as their own… which I just tried to do in my own script about to go out. Sons of *******…
