    I don't think it matters if he says it in public, to the press and ultimately to us, the fans. It matters WAY more to the player if it happens behind closed doors. And it garners respect from the player that knows his coach doesn't pander to soundbytes to make his point.

    The alternative would have been to throw his QB under the bus for not throwing him the ball. I like that our coach takes bullets for his guys even though doing so sets message boards on fire.

    In this instance, Its a non issue. Rondale Moore, another bad pick. Offing him to make a run at a backup QB with some starting experience? Worth it. Rondale Moore was a big ole nothing burger.

    Eff it. Ill just go on record that we should have kept both. Seemed like a no brainer. I could maaaaaaaaaybe see the argument for letting Allen walk, given the new regime coming in, but even that is sus. Letting Reddick go was a fireable offense.

    Probably be roundly dismissed for this, but for years....and years........ and...... years. Andy Reid was a talented, lovable doofus, who could coach the regular season, but couldn't win when it mattered, in the playoffs. It went on for seasons, until he was kind of run out on a rail in PHI...

    While he noted that he's happy with Gaines' progress and eventual full go return from injury, I believe Gannon used the words "pretty good" when describing him, and reporters used the words "praise" when writing their lede. Pretty good is not praise in my book. Its pragmatic.

    FWIW, I agree, its awesome. I just think it'd be easier on the board to centralize all the threads under one banner, and sticky it. Easy to find for those interested, and easy to ignore for those of us who will never be able to attend.

    But when one speaks about incremental improvement, it does not matter what your starting point is. It's not math's fault we sucked enough to only get 4 wins. I will ALWAYS take 50% improvement year over year. ALWAYS. Would I prefer to not be starting from 4? Duh. Would I prefer to see 300%...
