    9-7 seems about right to me. With a year of experience for K-1 and K-2 and the addition of Hopkins, I expect the offense to be somewhere in the top quarter of offenses, and our defensive additions should get us out of the bottom quarter of defenses.

    At linebacker instincts and angles mean a lot. It's why Reddick was an abject failure at the position. Weaver is "gifted" with instincts and angles, not footspeed.

    Also have a feeling that the pick is going to be Ruggs after a trade down. Lamb's play is similar to Hopkins(not saying Lamb is anywhere near as good as Hopkins), where Ruggs' speed offers the offense a whole new dimension.

    Other than offensive tackle and wide receiver, I think there's an outside chance that the Cards also consider K'Lavon Chaisson as well as Kinlaw at #8. Edge rusher is one of the high value assets that Keim has professed to value in putting together a roster.

    This is why the Cardinals should trade down if the option exists, unless Simmons or Okuda is available at #8. I don't believe that any of the highest rated O-lineman or receivers have any better of a chance of being elite, than a lot of the players ranked #10-30.

    How did you become a Cardinals fan?

    In 1965 for my 12th birthday my dad took me to see my first Cardinal game against the Washington Redskins. Charley Johnson was the QB and Sonny Randle and Bobbly Joe Conrad were the receivers. "Killer Crenshaw" and "Thunder Thorton" were the running backs. Been hooked ever since. God, I'm old.

    Cardinals re-sign Bullard and Chris Banjo

    Bullard was ok for depth on the D-line, but the guy I really wanted was Zach Kerr. I thought he played really well for us towards the end of the season and is a real good depth/rotational guy.

    The problem with not taking a wide receiver in the first round is that all these guys that you think/hope we can get in the second round may end up being taken at the end of the first round.
