    All of that against a team that essentially played 1 legit NBA starter in Westbrook… Look, if obtaining KD was simply a means to unleash Book, cool. It just seemed to me that the acquisition of KD was about more than crowing Book as a superstar.

    Bridges was on his way to becoming a very good, 20+ per night #2 to Book. And Cam would’ve been a better option that Craig and Okogie… But that still wouldn’t have been enough. We still need to replace Paul with a top-tier PG. We still need to enhance the bench. Just like we do right now…...

    I agree. But the standard of judgment of this trade, at least for me, is a Championship. Anything less and the trade is a failure. And to add, if we don’t win a Championship with KD, I think it’s fair to wonder what might’ve happened if we had stuck with Bridges and Cam.
