    Progress. You can lose and still show progress. The 1997 Cards lost a lot of games and showed progress, fight. That's what I want to see. Fight. Heart. Guts. This team quit in a lot of games last season. I don't want to see that this season. We have a rookie QB. I'm not expecting a Super Bowl.

    As a Phillies fan, this team doesn't need to be buyers but rather sellers or make no moves at all. No need to deplete the farm system to not make the playoffs. This team is horrible and needs a managerial overhaul first. Kapler needs to go and take Klentack with him.

    Actually, a more contemporary comparison would be Terry Francona. He was mediocre at best in Philly but did the impossible in Boston and now he has the Indians as a perennial contender.
