It's not a bandwagon thing for me. I have been riding this train for 52 years and haven't gotten off yet. Experienced a few train wrecks along the way but still kept going down the tracks. As ugly as last season was I still watched every game I could and every highlight or maybe it was low light last season. Even attended a game last year which was brutally ugly and stayed until the last whistle. I just realized I must be a masochist. :D

It'll depend on the performances. I remember once, long ago, when the Cards were 4-2 and I thought we sucked ass. Tango went ballistic on me, and I think we went something like 4-12 or 6-10. We had won, but won ugly. If we're 2-5 but playing really well and getting really close, I'll probably be happy.

Its pretty well documented on this board many of the kool-aid gang and the darksiders. So my question to you is how soon before you jump on or off the bandwagon?

At what point do the kool-aiders throw your hands in the air and declare this plan a failure. Will it take an entire season? A 1-3 September. Ineptitude on offense and/or defense?

Darksiders, what will it take for you to be wowed into jumping on the wagon? Nothing less than spectacular play by Murray and others? Will it be W/L record? A very competitive team even if our record is just so-so?

Let’s face it. When the season starts none of us want or will be satisfied with mediocrity no matter how patient we believe we are. The Rams were 4/12 before McVay took over and turned everything around.

Bottom line is we all have expectations. What are yours?
There doesn't have to be a so-called "bandwagon."

You can hope for a playoff berth until it's no longer in the picture. But then you can single out a half-dozen or more players who are fun to root for.

There are always things to remain excited about (except for last year).

After last year's debacle, all I'm looking for is entertainment. As long as we're exciting, I really won't put much credence into their won-loss record this year. I'm not entirely sold on VJ as our DC, so I actually have more concerns on the defensive side of the ball. I also never trust rookie WR's to be as good as advertised. We'll flash from time to time this year, but I'm trying to be somewhat realistic with my expectations.
